I think that Rue's fear of being a burden, comes from knowing that her family has problems that she sees as more important (her mom already has two jobs, his father has cancer, etc) so she doesn't think that she's the one that needs help, comparing to those problems.
@@GeorgiaDow Awesome, I’m glad you’re covering such a great show, especially coming from someone who’s personally struggled with substance abuse it’s very appreciated, so thank you for covering this important yet delicate topic. By the way, I absolutely loved your Encanto and Arcane videos, and I’d still LOVE a video done on Mel’s mom from Arcane, although I don’t know if there’s enough material of her to go off of, but I’d still love it since she’s in my top 5 favorite characters of the show.
@@GeorgiaDow Euphoria it's a show about visibility, and explaining all that happens inside their minds will help a lot of people to feel understood. You're awesome, Georgia, I love your content
Rue was the last person I thought I’d be relating to but it makes so much sense now. I always say I’ve been tired ever since I was born without even doing anything. I’d be coping by sleeping and not being present in the moment. I never got any medication cause where I am from, they don’t diagnose you with this kind of stuff. Just calling you a difficult child and keep hating on you:) I’m 31 now and pretty sure I have ADHD but it doesn’t affect me as much anymore. When I was a child I had a constant anxiety and never showed it at school. However, I would come home and cause ruckus there for what I got labeled “burden” in my family that they had to carry. It’s interesting to think how much alone I felt but that I never took any of their scolding seriously. I was rather turning against my family than thinking it’s my fault. I guess, that’s the only case when narcissism is actually a blessing lol
Oh man, if you could do the Jules special episode where she talks to her therapist, that would be a treat, because I struggle to understand it. I'm worried about how it is with copyrights though.
I heavily relate to Rue. I was never as bad as she was with drugs but I relate to her a lot because I have GAD, OCD, ADHD Inattentive, and Panic Disorder (along with a few other disorders that she doesn’t have, i.e PTSD and Tourette’s, I was diagnosed at the National Institute of Mental Health) but I think it’s so cool that the main character on a huge tv show has so many of the same disorders as I do! (I guess she would have PTSD after her dad passed but I don’t think it’s explicitly said in the show). It’s really nice to see someone who has multiple disorders in a hit show because people don’t believe it when you sound like you’re reading a list of all disorders. I usually don’t tell people about my disorders because I feel like people think I’m lying. I hope this shows the neurotypical population that people with a bunch of different disorders exist!

Hey, same thing for me. Just wanted you to know you're not alone, (idk if that helps lol). I wondered if i should force myself to watch it or not but personally i have come to the conclusion that i should probably try easier shows 1st, bc that one is a really tough one. I was happy to see someone else is struggling with this, i feel less alone
I have a question. So at 8:07 where they put a bag to her mouth... How exactly should that help? People have tried to do that to me many times and every single time it makes me close to fainting because I feel like I can't breathe even more than before the bag? Does anyone know why? This bag thing seems to help everyone but me (I know that I'm most likely not the only person who has that but I'm just wondering why it has the opposite effect on me?)
yes it isn't something we do usually anymore. I Just stay calm and let them slowly slow down their breathing instead of having them increase their co2 which for some people makes them more anxious.
Medically speaking, you faint because you exhale too much CO2. Bag over face means that you're inhaling the same air you exhale, which "recycles" your CO2

Also for more on Victor Stone/Cyborg from Zack Snyder’s Justice league
I will be doing more of the euphoria characters
After you finish Euphoria can you maybe do The Losers Club from IT/IT2 or Barry? Both have characters dreanched in trauma and abuse.
Suggestion: episode "Free Churro" from BoJack Horseman
I literally can't watch this show...I triggers me way to much
I would get a panik attack or a depressive episode with each episode I watch😂
yes lets stick to other shows then
@@GeorgiaDow quick question I know u probably have things to do sorry in advance... shouldn't I kinda force myself to watch it to kinda get over it and deal with my issues, like put myself in these stressful situation so that they get easier in the future?
(quick answer is sufficient if u have time thx)
Hey, same thing for me. Just wanted you to know you're not alone, (idk if that helps lol). I wondered if i should force myself to watch it or not but personally i have come to the conclusion that i should probably try easier shows 1st, bc that one is a really tough one.
I was happy to see someone else is struggling with this, i feel less alone
@@justinesprice9782 appreciate it...yes ofcourse it helps thx🥰
Great review of this character from this show.
thanks Damian
@@GeorgiaDow don’t mention it I have never seen this show but have heard crazy things about it.
OH MY GOD YOURE DOING EUPHORIA NOW??? i am happy
Yay !!!!
Always enjoying your Videos
I appreciate that!
U should def react to bound 1996 with Gina gershon and Jennifer tilly!!!
Yes more pls!
I feel so much from 13 minutes in on like I can relate
After euphoria's characters, Skins characters would be perfect for the content of the channel especially Effy or Cook.
My mom and I make that joke a lot actually, cause I came out dead with the umbilical around my throat 😅😅😅
This is what I've always wanted. :)
yay
oh yes !!!!! amazing
You should do interview with a vampire. The relationship between Louis and Claudia
and I get to dress as a vampire ...
With the new Peacemaker show finishing do you think you would do another video on him?
I might not sure though
Also, seems like I missed a reaaaally good show !
Please please please do a video on Jules!
Can you analyze Cassie too? Would be very interesting
15:01 😢😢
A spoiler alert please. Still have a few episodes to go. Will come back when I watch them. I’m liking these types of videos. It’s different.
@@GeorgiaDow Ah I see! Thank you for the reply :)
Medically speaking, you faint because you exhale too much CO2. Bag over face means that you're inhaling the same air you exhale, which "recycles" your CO2
U should react to Ginny and georgia
