Ive been through the same journey but my Journey started in 2005 and ended in 2021. Very happy that im back home in India and like he mentioned it is all about getting your priorities right, staying firm with your decision and not regretting the same !
Prithvi sounds like an intelligent man, but I think that the primary motivation for his migration, which he isn't openly disclosing, is related to status. He mentions having worked at the same company for 15 years, indicating he may be moving on to a high-level managerial position in India with a substantial package and relocation bonus. He might have had similar opportunities in the United States, but the appeal of maintaining one's status is often stronger in India, where he can enjoy it to a greater extent than any western country. Good call, Prithvi.
Yes, he is so reticent about why he is moving. He has suggested that he is leading/starting his company operations in India - meaning he'll be the CEO and has an opportunity to create large company in India which he'll be heading. It obviously is a massive promotion for him, and it is not a personal decision. It is purely a career and economic decision, anyone in his place would make that choice. Why is he so discreet? he sounds insincere and it suggests that he is making things up to suggest that he is moving so that his kids can be with grandparents! Would he have moved had he not had the promotion? Absolute not! He is moving not because he is compromising on career for family, he is moving because it's a massive step up for him in his career, if that was not the case then he would have never moved!
With German passport staying in India is always good. India is booming but one can return back to Germany anytime. His answers are not convincing apart from staying near with the Family. I believe his package will be more in India too

After 10 years of living in Berlin, I am sick of it and moving. Maybe Romania (as my wife is Romanian) or London (English-speaking). I don't know but my time in Germany is up.
Yes. He also mentioned in the video that he was pitching the idea to his company about India, so obviously it means he is not leaving his company and therefore he will be getting a very high salary.

Well, living in Germany is his perosnal choice. We can n't argue with him. Many people take foreign citizenship like Mumbaiker Nikkhil daughter. It's a very smart decision. In my opinion , living in India is very hard if you do n't earn good amount money. But many people are living and they are happy. And second thing is if you can afford to go out and study there and can earn good amount money. Then you come to India with a good experince and good amount of money, you can get a good amount of package or you can start your own comapny. Then it's a great decision.

His son might regret his parents decision after he grows up. I had an Indian co-worker in the US. His father did his masters in Germany and moved back to India while his father's friend stayed in Germany. Years later, when my co-worker met his father's friends children who grew up in Germany, he was envious of them. He said that he wished that he had grown up in Germany too.

India is favorable for individuals who exert influence on bureaucracy and society at large, while also enjoying a substantial income. Prithvi possesses both these qualities, coming from a family of medical professionals and earning a more substantial salary (guess that's obvious with the skill-sets he is bringing on the table) than the average in India. However, for middle-class citizens in India, with lower influence, regardless of their religion and size of their paycheck, life in India can present significant challenges.
Really apprecite to discuss such a complex topic....at the end its beyond certain priorities that matters to an individual...and transition is always difficult on any side which is just a matter of time... One thing which was not clearly discussed about keeping citizenship and thoughts behind...

It’s ironical that Indians complain about German’s English fluency when most of us speak English with such a thick accent & so many grammar mistakes 😅
This guy sounds like south Indian, in current scenario it's better to settle in Bengaluru than any other country
Yes spending half life in traffic is best idea!! 😂😂😂
Also have to deal with water crisis...
No one is forcing you to get German citizenship. Choice is yours !
In addition, Birthright citizenship is not allowed in Germany. So, don't lie !
Apna dass ki baat he aalag h I love my india ❤
India is favorable for individuals who exert influence on bureaucracy and society at large, while also enjoying a substantial income. Prithvi possesses both these qualities, coming from a family of medical professionals and earning a more substantial salary (guess that's obvious with the skill-sets he is bringing on the table) than the average in India. However, for middle-class citizens in India, with lower influence, regardless of their religion and size of their paycheck, life in India can present significant challenges.
Wonderfully explained,👌👌👍👍
Really apprecite to discuss such a complex topic....at the end its beyond certain priorities that matters to an individual...and transition is always difficult on any side which is just a matter of time...
One thing which was not clearly discussed about keeping citizenship and thoughts behind...
