My daughter and I just voted yesterday in Georgia, We checked our ballot before submitting and checked the print out as well. I suggest everyone do that.
It's also happening in Dickson County.
Easy fix: When programming the "boxes" make sure there is a lot of room between them... You have to program for the worst case scenario.
I’m trying to figure out Tennessee voting laws. I just moved to this state and voted recently for mayor in my first time voting in this state. I was asked by poll workers my political affiliation. This legal? I thought voting polls was private.
My daughter picked one candidate and it chose the other candidate luckily she caught it. She said another woman had the same issue.
Fix it.
That's not true, it's very easy and my polling location gives me a coffee stirrer. Then you are supposed to review the ballot before you print it out. Don't print it out if it's wrong then complain.
GO BACK TO PAPER BALLOTS
All counties in TN have paper ballots. Its a state requirement. If you don't catch it before your ballot is printed, you have the opportunity to catch it after. If you don't catch it at that point, well ... that's on you for not paying attention to what you're doing. There are fail safes built into these systems for a reason.
Im 70, never voted. They will always install who they wish.
That's not true.
