This really is that easy this is pretty much raw footage of me doing galaxy pools other then the 1 cut where I waited for my friend to get to dark forest. I hope this helps people get there as its so much easier then going under the floor for peoples whos first time oobing this is.
jb3 found the thing where you jump with the skimmer to get out of box.
Something I didn't know at the time of making this video is if you don't hit the load after dying for making the quantum. You can go back and if you hit the load the normal way while staring at the vehicle it will stay quantum.
If the Skimmer tps without you its not garunteed that you lost it theres a good chance it will fall straight back down into map and survive.
the level of galaxy pools innovation we've seen over this year alone is astonishing

As someone who could never learn to Sparrow fly, this is actually making me think that I can get there! I really may have to convince one of my clanmates to help me with this......
Really good video, super simple and understandable. One thing, do you need to lower your frames to 60 and 30 or is that not necessary (on console you can’t lower your frames btw)
Well capping yiur frames at 60 or 30 makes the out of bounds more possible
lower frames for the observer is definitely important helps making the teleport with the skimemr more consistant but 30 for the sword flying doesnt help that much

I really hope that Galaxy Pools is the final location we fight the witness on. Kinda like the Glove on the space platform from Smash Bros. Would be such a small space but imagine having a shit ton of ads and having to do mechanics, would be so satisfying!

When you get stuck in the air on the skimmer just before the titan flying section, can you start rail grinding on the skimmer to save some distance?
no because it doesnt move at all
Use navigator/grapple fly if you can, it’s very safe at least until the part where you drop down a bunch, but that’s nowhere close to 70 sword swings. You can also swap to your kinetic right after the eager swing to get more distance out of it, be weary of the various pulls once you get close to the back left pocket corner with the tree, no point in conserving sword ammo if it gets you killed and forced to restart regardless
I'm having trouble getting my skimmer frozen at the start, does it need to be super consistent with the spot you used in the video or can you be off in either direction by a little bit?
Actually, I realized I have been getting it, but it falls out from the tree, it's still locked in place though but i've been praciticing it solo do idk if other people could see me on the skimmer, i'm assuming as long as I die and load into the sludge after death and my skimmer is frozen all is good?

@@Rythm-44I ended up getting there! Skimmer is a lot simpler than the sparrow method but the 3 hour learning process was worth it. I figured out a lot of personal tips and tricks to be more consistent with it and get there faster after a failed attempt. Thank you!
Can you summon skimmer on the sword flying part? It could be a hail Mary if you run out of sword ammo

Three melees and a super can get you a decent mileage if you time them correctly between the gaps where you use the catapult lift initial boosts to gain height and the sword swings/melees/super to keep that height preserved.
I'm having trouble syncing upwards to my skimmer while spamming my jump to get high enough to sword fly to the shard of the traveler. I either just hop back on my skimmer in place or it disappears while trying to remount. Any tips? I've played with framerates and nothing really seems to help. Seems just like a timing thing to me but it's very inconsistent.
its gonna be inconsistent, just keep at it and you'll get it eventually, just remember that lower fps decreases update speed and higher fps increases update speed
yo, in the part right after getting it in the tree, when i go to the waterfall and get out of the skimmer and go back to the skimmer and get back to it, it doesnt let me infinite jump, do you know what we might be doing wrong?
make sure your on the ground correctly try moving it around a bit
Same issue here, multiple times on ps4, only got it to work by frantically spamming stuff, once, no clue what did the trick. on pc can consistently spam the leap but end up not getting back on the skimmer before it teleports and goes kaboom
It’s frame rate related btw, when I cap pc at 30 I run into the same issue, at 60 it’s spammable
When getting out of dark forest, Is it possible to have observer look down & zoom to the skimmer once high enough? Or is there any other method to delay update, its waaaay to instant for me & my friend even on 30 fps
yes you can do it like a sync box if your fimiliar with that

is this method usable on console since you cant change your framerate on there? i play on ps5 and ive wanted to go to the galaxy pools ever since i first heard about it like a year or two ago

just tried, got the first part done (sparrow de-sync thing) like 10th try, messed it up by getting on skimmer again and just spent 2 more hours trying it, and failing, ima try it another time T_T
when i try to do the first part i cant seem to get the turn back even when i line it up almost perfectly. any suggestions?
your not dismounting it correctly you need to dismount it towards the load
I almost had it multiple times only part that's keeping from me getting it is remounting the skimmer quick enough to be teleported, that's definitely becoming a pain point for me.
Shoot away all the floaty rocks so you can actually leap straight upwards without hitting anything altering your flight path. Doing so will often allow you to prevent your precious quantum skimmer hitting these rocks on its way down and fall directly towards you. Often making it possible to “catch” it by looking up and jump towards where you think it may drop. I’ve had times where was able to reuse the same skimmer 3-5 times. I was observing myself through ps4 remote play on my iPhone at 30 fps, just toggled on perma ADS and noticed that at higher altitudes as long as you line up the skimmer with the scope (you’ll see the interact button if lined up) after that the scope sort of tracks you and you just vary the heigth/momentum of your hop off->remount and you’ll get it. Observer really doesn’t have to do much besides minor tracking corrections if you spam leap very fast after a steep drop. I have some clips saved of observer perspectives when I successfully teleported myself up if it helps lmk

So a mate and i can get the skimmer into the dark forrest, when we go up and try to resync, either dosnt work or skimmer just disappears the second we get off to try teleport?? Any ideas? Or are we just trash 😂
yeah you got to get on sooner its rng so its kinda luck if your observer decreases his fps it will tp slower
Unfortunately you can’t cap frames on a ps5…do both players have to be pc or can I find someone on pc to do the hard parts?
you dont need to change fps its just that it helps its all doable at any fps

how is it that you keep your skimmer going up and jumping, each time i do it i get about 4 slow jumps and lose it
either you're not on the ground locally or you're not spamming jump fast enough

yeah and if it gets stuck in the water have them put on the 21 light class item and throw a glacier nade under the skimmer

just something unused outside of dark forest. It was found out by a cheater just flying around in dark forest and accidently hitting the load zone.

Same thing. Nothing happens on console. It will only let you tap once until you’re back on ground.

if you can grapple fly on hunter well then yes
i made it to 7:54, then i got off sparrow to do the thing, and get on quickly, it disapeared to quickly and my sparrow went boom
yeah that part is just rng try having your observer chajnge there fps for differente update timings

yes but the problem is you need line of sight with the skimmer to teleport to it

@@Rythm-44I had my friend leave and rejoin, that forced us back to a random spawn point that was literally out in the middle of nowhere. Some weird 6 line light cross was there.
so you spawned at unnamed forest default. you need to have your friend join on you to hold the load, go grab a rally flag, then rejoin on your friend. From there you need to infinite sword fly back over to the lake where you get pulled, then you can hit the load zone as you get pulled up into the traveler shard, hope this helps.@@zjapkarian9944

if you can grapple fly on a hunter then yes but if you just wanna sword fly like i did you need a titan

its because of the way i went up on that cliff thats what makes the load zone take that long
