I had a lot of fun making the video... just a little experiment with some old hair that I had around the house. And it worked! :) So if you have some straight hair laying around and later decide you want a permanently curly texture here is a method that has worked for me. I used few pants hanger racks, some foil, potato chip clips and some boiling water!! Have fun!

Ladies, google 5 tier pant hangers. I'm on my way to buy at least 5 now. This video is the best technique I have scene.
Girl. This. Is. Fire. this method is genius. I dont have time to fool with all those perm rods, and you are able to control how you want your curl to come out! I needed this!!!!! Thanks

By far the best result on youtube.
How long did you leave the hair in the water for? And was that just a tub full of hot water? did you replace the water frequently to keep it hot? This was probably the best method i've seen on youtube!!!

Can this be done to achieve an afro kinky curly texture? How about on a wig?
Those racks really helped the curl pattern, this is the best vid so far. I would love to know where she got the racks too!! Guess I'll get my google on lol
Yes you are suppose submerge the hair in boiling water and allow the hair to boil for at least 3 hrs even 4 hrs, and prior to boiling the hair I highly recommend you pour oil in the water, when the hair is finished boiling, do not unravel the hair from the curling rods or perm rods, allow the hair to dry either air dry or blow dry.
easy and best method i seen so far...!! TRYING.

She put boiling water in a plastic rubber maid storage container. Then put the hair in it.

Whats the point in making a video and not replying to rhe comments and amswering questions, ugh...this is the fourth video and i have yet to see the question everyone wants to know be answered.....will the hair go back to the curl pattern after straightening it?? And will it go back to curly if u wet it??
RoyalOakTownCrew Thats a very simple question. No it won't all she did was boil it which isn't a chemical process so of course it won't go back after you straighten it.
yea o figured that out myself, thx
RoyalOakTownCrew that's what I said.
AMAZING!! ((APPLAUSE)) LOL

How did you keep the water boiling hot?
