This was such a great classic movie. The original is way better than the remake. Thanks for taking us on the tour!
i agree. thanks for watching, rhetty!
This is one of my favorite Christmas movies.. They have re-made this movie but there is no replacing this one!! God Bless their souls!! 🙏🙏
Thank you Steve. Lord bless you.
thanks, steve, and the same to you!
I love the original version of miracle on 34th street and its a wonderful life. My 2 favourite Christmas movies.
Me too
My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Carol (1938). Great video.
hopefully i can vlog that one next year. many viewers have mentioned it. thanks, sherron!
Visiting Gravesites With Steve 🎄it is a wonderful rendition however my favorite version is from 1951 with allistair sims. 🎩
Have seen Percy Helton in countless roles on tv and film, but never knew his name until now. He was wonderful...
i know. sadly, most of those old character actors just go nameless.
Neither did I but considered him the original “raspy voice” actor whose mantle was taken up by Sterling Holloway.
Rose Zingleman Oh, yes...just did some research on him and discovered that having to shout and scream his lines in a play he appeared in caused lasting damage to his vocal chords and left him with that distinctive breathy falsetto voice. Learned that he was also quite a hero during WWI and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross...Oh, gosh, yes! I love Sterling Holloway. I might be mistaken, but I believe both he and Percy Helton did their turns as the voice of Winnie the Pooh...
I love Miracle On 34th St. My mom and I watched it every Christmas although she is gone I still watch it every year it gives me great memories. Thank you Steve.
thanks for sharing the memory of your mom with us, cage!
Steve, another great vlog. Thanks for keeping alive the memories of these great actors and actresses.
thanks, vince!
Maureen and Natalie were both very old school gorgeous Hollywood legends. Great video as usual.
they sure were. thanks, chad!
Thank you
My favorite Christmas movie is The Night they saved Christmas with Art Carney. Thank you for the video, Steve. 🌲
thanks, doris!

Hi Steve. It's amazing to see that these people died before I WAS born, but their movie's Are still relevant today. How awesome is that ‼️ HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ‼️💯 💯💯 💯.🤶🎅🤶☃️☃️☃️☃️🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🖐🏼.
i know. it's amazing. some of these movies are really timeless. thanks, carole!
@@TheGraveyardChannel you're welcome as always 😀
Thank you ever so much for showing the graves and faces of character actors that I recognize but never knew their names.
Natalie Woods was always very special to me. She always brought something special to every movie that she was in. My favorite is "The Great Race" with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon. When she sings Sweetheart Tree (I think it was named) my heart cries for her passing.
Thank you so much for this video. I truly admire you, your efforts and your videos.
Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, and Happy New Year to you and yours and your devoted subscribers.
thank you J, that's really nice of you to say, and the same to you!

Shirley Schork my favorite is a Christmas Story
White Christmas is probably my favorite holiday movie. Love you Steve. Keep em coming
thanks, ronald!
Greetings from the UK. I enjoy your vlogs very much. I doubt I'll every get to visit personally, this is the next best thing. I would love to see Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce grave any plans to do a Shelock Holmes vlog?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family Steve. Warmest wishes Karen.
rathbone is in new york and i'm in california, but hopefully i'll get back there again one day. i just checked and nigel bruce's ashes are interred in the chapel of the pines that i visited and showed at the start of this video. i didn't know he was there. it's very difficult to get in to visit and with thousands of niches' very difficult to find people there. if i ever return, i will look for him. thanks, karen, and the same to you and your family!
@@TheGraveyardChannelthanks for your reply Steve. I'm surprised to hear hes buried in NY. I d just assumed he was buried in California. Warmest wishes to you.
@@TheGraveyardChannel Steve, the Holmes films (and the Charlie Chan films) might still present an opportunity for a video. There are a LOT of other wonderful actors in that 12-film Sherlock Holmes series with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Oscar winner Gail Sondergaard was "the heavy" in one. Other actors included: Ida Lupino, Rondo Hatton, Henry Daniell, Lionel Atwill, John Carradine, Peter Lawford (in his first, uncredited screen appearance), George Zucco, Mary Gordon, Milburn Stone, Ian Wolfe, Miles Mander, and Thomas Gomez. Just a thought.
Oh I'm a Baker Street Irregular! Love all and anything Sherlock .
Jeremy Brett was the best Sherlock ever!!,
@@julieshepherd5989 Jeremy Brett was a wonderful Sherlock. He was also very good in "My Fair Lady," (with Audrey Hepburn) where he sang very well! For me it's a tossup between Rathbone and Brett for the best Sherlock. Both are so good--and very different--I can't decide. In a way it's not a fair comparison because the screenwriting was very different for both, too.
Thank you for sharing i love all Christmas movies from the 50 and 60s there more fun to watch steve you have a nice Christmas and Happy New Year stay safe out there.
i agree. they're the best. thanks, olivia, and the same to you!
Thank you Steve, I appreciated seeing this. I am surprised how simple the graves are of some of the actors and those niches to find an actor I am so thankful to you as the time it takes for you. :)
i know. i'm usually surprised, too. thanks, wendy!

I still miss Maureen, she made some of the best movies even better. Her funeral at Arlington drew a large crowd.
How was she allowed to be buried there a husband
@@pammcdaniel5131Maybe but also maybe some presidential award she received. Probably easy for you to look up.
She was married to Air Force General Charles Blair.
@@pammcdaniel5131 Exactly. Husband was a Brigadier General in the United States Air Force.
Awesome

You videos are always respectful and well done, Steve. My favorite Christmas movie is the 1951 British version of A Christmas Carol. (It used to frighten the bejeesus out of me when I was small!)

as a fellow Canadian, I really dislike the term "Great White North," it just feeds American stereotypes about Canada, shame on you.
