That sasquash was amazing! 😂🤣 I haven't done any special projects with my leftover drills but I think you can also use the diamond dots stick glue instead of the e6000. It should make it sticky like the canvas glue.
I just started diamond painting, so I haven't done anything yet. I'll most likely keep a small bag of each color plus any special drills. That way, I have them if I need them, or if I don't like a color being used, I can switch it out. I do have some budget kits that I'll most likely throw in a jar just to see how long it takes me to fill a jar. It's kind of like dimes in a big piggy bank. How long will it take to fill that bank with just dimes. I also like the Christmas ball ornaments you showed. I could just keep bags of pinks and reds, a bag of greens, a bag of blues, etc. Then, when I have enough, fill the balls with them. Because of weight I don't think you could hang them. Instead, stack them in a pretty bowl or stack and glue them together around a fat candle. I wonder if they make smaller balls you fill? That would be fun. I also wonder if you could use them in acrylic molds with poured acrylic? I have my baggies I bought and labels I bought, so today I start unkitting and then kit up a new one to start on. Fun times!!
Good idea! For a while I was keeping all my special drills too! You could definitely use them in acrylic or resin molds, some pen shops have "drill" blanks, where the blank just has a bunch of drills inside and I've seen resin cover minders that are made up of drills, they're pretty! I like all your ideas!
Thanks Beverley! I do kit down one company and save them by DMC but all the rest I put in large jars on a shelf. These are some good ideas and I absolutely love "Disco Daryl"!!!!! I have sealed a few dp things an I have found that MinWax Ploycrylic in gloss works very well for me. It never dulls the drills. Have a great week!
What do you do with your leftover drills? Let me know below!

Marquise is the shape 💚
Frick! I knew that too! Thank you 😊

That's a good tip! I've seen that recommended too!! And please make a Disco Daryl 😜
Enjoyed this video! Very original content and great projects using drills.
Thank you for watching!
wow awesome projects there and a great way to upcycle your spare drills :)
Right! I thought they were all so cute!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 @ that last one! these were really good. The humming bird was definitely my fave but I'll. Continue to just pour mine out into an acrylic cube
You don't want to do a disco themed leftover drill project? 😂
@BevBee 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey Bevie
I've been saving them but for someone who seriously hates kitting up and down I am considering changing my ways. 😅😅
Just toss themmmm!! :P
I think the flowers on the tissue box are iris.
That would make more sense than what I said 😂
I dump all but the "specials" in an old milk bottle. I used to save them butttt 😮💨 Ezz 2 much lol.
Ooh a milk bottle would be cute as a decorative item rather than just a normal jar!
❤❤
Thanks for watching!
"if you like getting high on glue or not" sent me 😹😭
Maybe people do!!! LOL
I wouldn't put all of the dirlls together. I would separate them so i can customise my own diamond painting
