I am late to the party..... But I am still watching 12 minutes in!!! You do an amazing job, no wonder you are so successful!!! Like some others have commented I have seen, it's so special how tight and close of a true love marriage your wife and yourself have, plus you're both great parents from what I can tell, and you just don't see that very often now a days unfortunately, but thanks for this amazing channel and everything you and your family are kind enough to share with the world!!! I am disabled at 36 from a genetic blood clotting disorder, long story, but I was a Toyota Master Tech for almost 20 years, loved what I did and I was great at it, and I found this Hobby 2 years ago and it allows me to still kinda do what I did for a living, it's so therapeutic, and it just clears my mind, but keep up the good work!!! I recently purchased a TRX4 Bronco myself, I am setting it up with a wide stance on the 2.2 RC4WD MONSTER MUDDER TRACTOR STYLE TIRES, brass 72g brass portal covers, 59g brass steering knuckles, Mamba X on the way, waiting on my beadlocks to show, HR spur, but I do have 2 questions, hoping you get this notification and have time to read it but... Which motor would you personally run with this ESC? Besides a Train, I just don't have the coin for one, between the Sensor Castles and those new TENSHOCK motors that aren't sensor but do an amazing job, I have seen them on EXOCAGED R/C, and I need a little help with lifting this thing without purchasing the TRAXXAS Lift Kit(too damn expensive), plus I already installed the extended rod ends in the kit with a high clearance stainless steel cut, D-Hawk alloy driveshafts, and I have a set of 120mm HR internal spring shocks, a set of 100mm TFL all alloy piggyback shocks (meant to order 110mm), but I do have a set of unique shock mounts with multiple holes so it's easy to just move down to raise the truck.... What I am wondering is if you have an idea of how I can use those 120mm HR shocks because I would love to get that much flex, and I already installed HR 10mm widening kit, front and rear, I have another set of 12mm widening the adapters from GPM, so I may be able to clear that way, I like the tires sticking out by the way, and I won't be comping, just bashing a little, mud running, and would just like to be able to tackle most anything out in the woods within reason. Sorry for this novel I just wrote, but I just started typing when you said Chime in at the 12 minute mark, big thank you if you have time to read this and give me your feedback, cause I have enough money to spare to finish it, but I just can't waste anymore, so I have to be spot on, and every time I try to ask people in forums or FB groups, I get to many of those egomaniacs(Medic's fav quote: That's what she said, lol) that don't even answer my questions, they all end up trying to figure out what type of issues I'm having like overheating, etc, and I can fix anything, I understand how all of this works but Fab work is not a strong suit so I am doing my damndest to learn, so any and all help will be much appreciated from Pauline, SC USA, later my Canadian Neighbors
I am concerned about the 2.2''s on those axle stubs. Those tires are going to be VERY heavy in mud.. and you are weighting the truck down every more with the brass. I am worried you will be snapping axle stubs, or Ring and Pinions in your diff. If you are hell bent on a LARGE truck like that.. you will have to go brushless. But, the amount of stress from those tires will transfer throughout your truck, even if you get a motor to power it. Those 2.2 tires are MASSIVE. Have you seen them in person yet?
I am a professional truck puller and I also do tractor pulls...full size, I have for about 15 years been with many clubs. The rule is always as long as the truck/tractor stays in bounds you're fine. The sled doesn't matter because you can't steer it. And as for maintenance it depends... soft tracks or if you tear it up bad yes we do rake and pack it between each truck...hard tracks or if you don't tear it up much every 2-3 trucks. Also in full scale soft tracks you want more wheel speed and less air in your tires for more cusion/traction. Hard tracks are more torque and a bit harder tires because you can wrinkle them too much and then the centers will squish up and lose contact.
Great video Medic! I know you must be super busy while filming all the action at the event and you do a great job! I think driver interviews in the pits would be a cool addition. Especially when trucks have breakage with a close up shot of the damage and what they think went wrong. Keep up the great work man!
Still here. You should pack some garden tools with you so you can make a sled track. Dig it up and brake up the hard pack and then pack it down so the tires have something to grip. Maybe bring a couple bags of sand and spread it and repack after every pass.
I like to give a shout out to the rude boyzs crazy joe for such an awesome event, i love this. and medic for such an awesome video of this event. I've enjoyed this so much and i lost of words.
I'd say that torque & weight are what is most important. It's when your lacking in one or both of those that you better have wheel speed to make for it. The wraith that I had, I uped the motor to an 2 cell water proof brushless, but geared it waayy down to maximize on torque. Before life happened, I had planned on getting weighted front rims for better climbing ability. It kept flipping backwards when it would climb steep hills. I wonder how it would have done against the Judge. Lol. You mentioned that the Traxial broke with the Judge, was it only the plastic the servo that broke, or did it get broke up worse?
Great fun I bet! Good to watch, and out of all these trucks I've seen this year it's still that blue chevy doing it for me! Regards pulling - weight is what these trucks miss - Farm tractors are heavy for a reason - But a heavy truck might not mud or climb well... Tough choices! :)
Medic, what is the weight of your Traxxial? Seems like you had the wheel speed just didn't have the weight to get the tires to bite. I thought you were going to change out the steer servo before TTC? Great show and loved the carnage. Sorry guys, but as a spectator that makes the show all the more better. Who doesn't have that deep dark secret when watching hill climbs, monster trucks and Daytona.
Great event Aaron ! Watched every second Brother I'm towing around the Judge next weekend with the Bomber XL at a crawl event that Shawn "Beard" Phoenix Led is throwing 🙌
Need a much better setup. Use a few pieces of 2" x 10" (or larger) wood, with wood stakes attached (on outside) that can be hammered into the ground. This would give a barrier that would help guide on uneven ground. You would then put your distance markings on the top of the 2" side. It would be reusable and easy enough to transport for any one with a truck. Should also be a bit wider of a pulling area.
My opinion I wouldn't have gates during this sledpull, just figure out a points system on the distance, but awesome video! Been watching for years and I'm never disappointed 👍
When I turn 15-16 and get a job I want to save up for a project. I want to build a 1/4 or 1/5 scale RC car(or more likely a truck) with an actual scale gasoline engine. I kinda want to build a small diesel but fuel pump pressure is so high one mistake can be fatal. I am looking at the 2018 Ford Raptor. If it someday happens, seeing how much it could pull on the judge would be awesome!
Looks like you guys are having a great time nice and relaxed atmosphere there lots of laughs. I think I've decided on my next build project Cross RC HC4.
Those that left a little slack in the line then gassed it did lots better because the sled was able to get some momentum. The guy telling them to start slow and with the line tight. Was the worst way to do it. The guys that listened to him to him went nowhere. Lol. It was still cool and looked like lots of fun.
I think we know is was an unfair setup for most vehicles in each class due to the terrain and the restriction on swapping battery size. Enjoyable but frustrating in a way.
Hi Aaron I have been following you for the past 3 years and have gotten back into rc again after 20 year and last week after saving for my traxxas summit and only having it for 9 months. Some A_s broke into my home and stole it along with my wife's real car.
I would have thought weight would be more important than wheel speed to keep the wheels on the ground and use all the torque without just spinning the wheels, add a 3s and the right gearing and pulling the judge would be no problem.
John Hazell that's what I think too. Proper torque, traction, and gearing ratio should be able to pull it no problem. That's why pulling trucks/tractors and such are set up a certain way.
Just asking.....are these just crawlers upgraded to brushless systems??? Wanting to get into this mainly pulling and mud bogging. Is that all I would need meaning a stock crawler and just upgrade to brushless??Thanks to who ever anwsers😎🤗😏
Shem, that is the exact point of the TTC. One must build a truck that is good at EVERYTHiNG! It really is difficult to win each competition, which allows others to win as well
I am late to the party..... But I am still watching 12 minutes in!!! You do an amazing job, no wonder you are so successful!!! What an incredible, fun event to watch. All the trucks are powerful examples of what can be in 10th scale RCs. But most of all I love THE JUDGE!
Great video Medic! I know you must be super busy while filming all the action at the event and you do a great job! I think driver interviews in the pits would be a cool addition. Especially when trucks have breakage with a close up shot of the damage and what they think went wrong. Keep up the great work man!
Someone will show up with an Abrams M1A1 RC tank weighing about 300 pounds next time ! 😃
Nice video and MANY trucks involved, great show 🏆
Awesome video the Judge great job thumbs up
Sehr schönes Video... tolle Idee, einfach super geil, wow...
Still watching after 12 minutes.
Love this.
If I haven't spent so much on drones I'd definitely be getting a truck.
Fun to watch.
Never saw anything like this..you have got a new subscriber.
THE TTC!! another great year. I remember 2014 ttc
2014 was awesome, it was my first! I missed 15, but been back ever since!

These events look fun. Seem like some people I could party with.
Thar last one was hilarious great video
Nice! loads of dust!
Great video. Who knew a power wheels could pull haha
Nice event and cool cars!
I suggest that you should do a race day video and show all the prep you do and someone film you race and maybe have a camera on your car.
I think it’s cool. To see the RC trucks having. The same breaking problems. Real trucks do.
Always nice watching your videos. Especially the TTC.
Still here. You should pack some garden tools with you so you can make a sled track. Dig it up and brake up the hard pack and then pack it down so the tires have something to grip. Maybe bring a couple bags of sand and spread it and repack after every pass.
Oki?o baby Stark baby shark baby shark
Yes the 12 minutes I was still watching so interesting I have one myself. Wish I could show you!!

i love the judge,is awesome.

Danon A el gato con bota
I really like the camera guy! Amazing recording and commentator as well
Hello @RCSparks Studio
I love your videos and especially the ttc.
Just keep up the good work and thank you for the inspiration of a TH-cam channel😃.
Hey medic, I think next time to make it more fair and more scale to how it's actually done, try shortening the line that holds the truck to the sled.
Great video! Love the TTC vids! I think leveling and sweeping the track each pull would make for good runs.
I always watch the full vids i love all of the different trucks an comps awesome show
Great fun I bet! Good to watch, and out of all these trucks I've seen this year it's still that blue chevy doing it for me! Regards pulling - weight is what these trucks miss - Farm tractors are heavy for a reason - But a heavy truck might not mud or climb well... Tough choices! :)
WY
Lip stick power wheels guy was the hero of the day.
I was about say u need nitro but the electric puting down some torque. I them both nice pulls guys.
12 minutes in and still watching!
We had a great time ..and a VERY LONG DAY of competing.. now we are all starting to cut loose for the night :)
12 minutes already huhh.. :P Time flies watching Crawler fun..!
I watched the whole thing, just like every episode!!!! Love em all!!!!
12 minutes in. Loving this. Was a huge fan when I was a kid. Now I have too many nephews and cousins. Haha. Building a private track as we speak.
Awsome rigs thumbs up
another awesome video
#yasssssss Abslutely love your vids i have bueen sharing your channel to ALL of your friends :) :)
The judge is always a great decision maker!
Well looks like I may have to pick up a new fun addiction. 😂👍🏻Excellent Vids bro.
Cadi nailed it for me!
Great event Aaron ! Watched every second Brother I'm towing around the Judge next weekend with the Bomber XL at a crawl event that Shawn "Beard" Phoenix Led is throwing 🙌
Another great video from rc sparks
I get excited when I see the judge
I think leaving the track in between runs adds to the whole tough truck challenge
Nice nice , that was a lot of fun with families and friends, i wish I was there
Another great video! 👍Hot wheels full pull!!
I also think that torque and and good traction is the key to the judge
12 minute mark and stil here what a great video medic

the power wheels truck was EPIC!!! lol
I love your vids this is why am getting one am getting an traxxas slash 4wd
Looks like you guys are having a great time nice and relaxed atmosphere there lots of laughs. I think I've decided on my next build project Cross RC HC4.
that one with the red loooking jeep has a blue smile more shirt. ROMAN SOLDERS!!!!!
Wow amazing. 👊🏽
Those that left a little slack in the line then gassed it did lots better because the sled was able to get some momentum. The guy telling them to start slow and with the line tight. Was the worst way to do it. The guys that listened to him to him went nowhere. Lol. It was still cool and looked like lots of fun.
When's the Red Bull sponsorship coming?.....When you get the Europeans & Australians competing then you know you've hit the big leagues!
12 minutes in ? of course im watching ...i love it
Still here Great vid man
Always here bro, I always watch to the end. Every video is epic
The power wheels, lol. Very cool event by the way 👍
just like in real life, weight and gearing makes all the difference when pulling.
THIS IS SO COOL!
amazing speed and torque are both important
Love this video
I think we know is was an unfair setup for most vehicles in each class due to the terrain and the restriction on swapping battery size. Enjoyable but frustrating in a way.
If you teched in with a 3s, you can use a 3s.. but you can not raise your battery if you started with a 2s. It was the competitors choice :)
very cool guys im i live in Alabama this is what we need to have here
This ie epic! i wish my friends ran events like this! bravo!
Love your channel
SENTANCiNG WAS FiNAL! JUDGED, JURiED and EXECUTED! Awesome Event!
RCSparks Studio Wow what a event i wish they would do stuff like this around my area. Looks like everybody is just having a blast.
I loved the Judge I was able to pull it 26ft on a 2s lipo
RCSparks Studio Cameron had a smile more shirt that's awesome also medic should try to do a video with Romanatwood
doom slayer I did? Lol
Cameron Moore if your the same one from the video then yes if not then its questionable but possible
I have made it to 12 minutes in cool videos can you post some more?
you need two chains on the front of the sled coming from either side of the pan to the trucks hitch... it keeps it straight behind the truck
Judge should be run on Really really loamy dirt. Make it soft so the trailer gets stuck, but the truck as traction....
Would be fun
The last one was savage
Hi Aaron I have been following you for the past 3 years and have gotten back into rc again after 20 year and last week after saving for my traxxas summit and only having it for 9 months. Some A_s broke into my home and stole it along with my wife's real car.

but the problem is you have to be light enough to pass all the other courses. thats why you have to have the perfect balance
Lol
Awesome footage, would’ve been cool to see how a nitro car would go with the sled
Nice coverage Medic, thanks for all your camera work and comentary for the event!
Love these videos. Great job. Would be cool to see someone use the gelande 2 cruiser to compare to mine.
Hi Josh, check out our 2015 TTC Series, and you get your wish! :)
Sweet thanks.
The judge is an icon
I’ve got a traditional thing I always do with these vids. I watch every minute of them, every single time! Cheers brother.
LOVED IT
Just asking.....are these just crawlers upgraded to brushless systems??? Wanting to get into this mainly pulling and mud bogging. Is that all I would need meaning a stock crawler and just upgrade to brushless??Thanks to who ever anwsers😎🤗😏
Cool hobby. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.
i like ur videos guys good work
love your show, ttc looks like a blast
Looked like a great time out
I think the judge hitting the gate shouldn't count but the truck hitting the truck hitting the gate should count
Oui shb go jhvgjohgjjhjj and ggyhxjdb
Epic carnage! Love the ending!
looks like a lot of fun
12 min in, I'm still here. Cheers from oregon
My brother and his family live in Grants Pass. Cheers
Funny how some are good at certain events, Awesome job EVERYONE. Loved the 8 wheeler
Shem, that is the exact point of the TTC. One must build a truck that is good at EVERYTHiNG! It really is difficult to win each competition, which allows others to win as well
Once a pull is started your not supposed to reverse! After they start assuming they move the sled at all. When forward progress stops the run is over.
