You cry when you get abandoned, most animals don't because they don't have a need to show emotions. Rattlesnakes are proof reptiles feel emotions, they literally have friendships (unlike you).

Poor Tank, he must miss her. I had two turtles when I was a kid and they lived together their whole lives. When one died the other refused to eat. It's important to monitor them.

reptiles literally do not have the brain capacity to love something. unlike other animals they lack the part of that makes complex emotions like love. the best you get from a reptile is there trust

Its always so hard to suddenly lose a member of your family
Poor baby. This just brings tears to my eyes. :( When I saw that poor precious sweet little girl wheeze, it was almost more than I could handle. It is one of the heartbreaking aspects of having the privilege of keeping pets.......to know that one day, they'll be gone. I just want everything to be OK for sweet little Tank and all of Tinkerbell's babies. My heart goes out to ALL of you.

being sad is normal, what if your pet passed? would you just stop being sad and become happy cause it was there and existed?
You know everyone can express loss differently.
Some with be angry, some with be sad, some would be happy that they lived, and other can feel all of it at once.

They all say that animals don’t feel emotion like humans but that is clearly not the case. They know when their friend / partner has passed and they definitely mourn them just like we do.❤
Absolutely ! We are all Earthlings and come from the same Family Tree. We all have the same needs, they are just presented in different ways. Believe me, animals do grieve for their loved ones who have died before them.

One of my tortoises passed away this year. She lived most of her life with my oldest tortoise and they always were together. When we buried her, the eldest spent many days looking for her too.
Tortoises may not be very expressive or outwardly emotional, but they are more than capable of having feelings ❤️🩹❤️🩹
