I predict even if Feds cut rate from June , might be around 75 basis for this yr . Slightly low rate environment is good for business to surive , conducive for equity mkt . Slight loss in NIM can be offset by higher loan revenue . 😊

Few criteria b4 i buy any counters such as one yr Hi Lo, PE, P/BV , Dividend yield . I will buy some more DBS when drop by $3 next mth . Then monitor what price prevail in June n July .😊

If they cut too aggressively, inflation will come back stronger so foresee banks to still have high nim

I know I’m not worried abt Ocbc when it announced for its premier dividend acc, to cut by 0.5%, and increase its monthly deposit limit from 2k to. 3k a month! So stingy to account holders! lol

Having said this, I like both UOB and DBS. So, I would buy both. 🙊
Thank you, AK. My next question is how long do I have to hold on to the stocks in order to earn the dividend payout. Is there a holding period like few months or 1 year? After the payout, will there be any change in the stock price? Will the stock price dip?
@@64ytb How would prices move? Your guess is as good as mine. 🤭 As for when dividends are paid, you can check the payout dates in the last 12 months to get a right idea. 👌
