When the Germans do the movement, it seems like a joke. When the monk does it, it seems lethal. 😮

They’ll get there in time. That monk has been practicing for like 30 years

Watching these two individuals struggle, you might initially think the task at hand is simple and that you could easily outperform them. This assumption, however, serves as an unexpected source of motivation. Their efforts encourage you to rise and attempt the form yourself, leading to the realization that it's not as effortless as it appears. Nonetheless, this realization is positive; their actions inspire you to be active, promoting health and movement over remaining sedentary. It's quite remarkable how they inadvertently motivate others to improve their physical well-being.
On a different note, the quality of the translation detracts from the overall experience, potentially hindering understanding for those involved. It's unfortunate, as a better translation could have facilitated a deeper comprehension of the nuances involved.
I speculate that the monk in the video aimed to convey the importance of synchronizing various bodily movements to achieve harmony. He likely explained that combining three internal and three external elements-functioning as six but moving as one-and leveraging internal energy to enhance external actions can significantly amplify the impact at the point of contact. By focusing all movement, both internal and external, towards a single point, one can naturally increase the force of impact. Although this is merely my interpretation and I could be mistaken, it seems like a plausible explanation of the technique demonstrated in the video. Just my two cents-take it with a grain of salt!

Fist harmony with feet, elbow with knee, shoulder with waist, mind with consciousness, consciousness with Qi(气), Qi(气) with strength . In my understanding, It’s like one who can achieve the external and internal harmony, can 一气呵成, which like a fluent pianist can perform the melody in heart without realizing pressing the keys or arranging the fingers.
