  • Let me take you through a day in the United States Air Force! (Active Duty) This Military day in the life includes my Air Force squadron's policy for PT and the perks for getting a high score on the U.S Air Force PT test. Shown also is how different life can be after U.S Air Force Basic Training depending on what your job is. Something very important I felt that needed to be touched on is why you should accept your situation...

I'm a grunt and from my experience I hear a lot of negativity towards other service members who aren't infantry. The truth is every MOS has a purpose in the military. Whether its defending on land, sea, air, or even cyberspace, we are all one big family. From a grunt to an airman keep doing your videos brother. Instead of ignoring the negativity embrace that shit, and turn it into a positively thing.

First of all, thank you for the work you do! Desk job or not, it’s all equally important in service to our county. Shame on anybody throwing hate on their position.
Secondly, thank you for opening up in this and all your videos, that’s not an easy thing to do. I agree that society as a whole needs to be more open to discussion on everything and stop being so closed minded with a “this is how we’ve always done it” headspace. Society needs to stop being so quick to judge everyone, especially if they’re different.
Kudos my friend! Keep up the good work!
RIP Mac Miller - I recently got into his stuff this year and was sad hearing about his passing. Such a talented guy.

Hey brother, I’m a retired army grunt and I can honestly tell you that all the negativity is coming from guys that are unhappy with the chooses they have made in the service. I did 16yrs two combat tours as a grunt and medically retired from injuries in iraq. I initially joined the Air Force and changed my mind last minute. I was happy as a soldier and as a grunt but there were a lot of times I wished I had gone the Air Force route. You are where you need to be! Don’t let other people’s regrets affect your goals!

My dad works on an Army base as a civilian job with computer software and he told me that every military job save lives. I recently decided to join the Air Force. My number one job is weather because I love meteorology. But life isn't easy and things happen for a reason so if we end up with something we don't like, remember it isn't bad luck.

I happen chanced finding your video thinking more of my Dad who was in the Army Air Corps / Air Force from 1944-1958 in electronics communications that helped him well for a career outside the Air Force. I worked with four people through all my years at the same company and met four who had retired from nearby Scott Air Force base all with an IT background and all were really good employees at my firm. You made such a great choice for a career. Cyber security is just so important today. Thank you for your service.

Hey respect to you brother. Respect to you for the work that you do in cyber and for acknowledging the negativity you receive, but big respect to your work in cyber because like what many commenters said, wars in the future are gonna be fought much more in cyber space rather than with big guns and bombs. The infantry guys are just as important but their work will have less importance one day.
Also you seem very down to earth, specially because you acknowledged the mental health issues in and out of the military. I'm 30 years old and I've had my struggles with depression in the past but I'm actually considering joining the airforce (mental health specialist job) and maybe god willing I can make some positive impact on the military mental health stigma. Even if it's only a small impact.
    Keep it up!

Good job on the video man, and a great attitude. Stay positive, and keep being that ripple that others will need. See you around.
Those people with a negative attitude toward others do so just to make them feel better about themselves. They need to take a moment each day to look in the mirror and reflect upon one self to understand who you really are. Remember, bad apples will try to spread infections to their surroundings. They can always start again each day, throw away their ugly shells to plant a new seed. Everyday is an opportunity; opportunity to be remembered as how you want to be remembered through every interactions. Your choice.

I am not in any military branches. Been taking a few months now to look further in depth which branch I want. However, you are in cyber. People in today's modern world don't understand that we are in AGE OF INFORMATION. As IT specialist or cyber etc ... You are that much closer to improving our country defenses in highly classified field. Those negative people are the one who have nothing better to do, but criticism. Also, I have one degree in electrical engineering. I understand behind a monitor how much anyone can improve regarding programing etc. Thank you for service Mr. NUÑEZ !!
