I am using ForeFlight on X-plane 11 and I love the experience. It helps me in many ways if I ever go flying in the real world I can not imagine flying without ForeFlight.

My initial reaction when finding this video was... AN HOUR AND A HALF!!?? This is ridiculous in a time of 10 minute TH-cam videos. When I got to the 49 minute mark my thought was... This video needs to be longer. I would be willing to sit down in an 8 hour, all day, full class of Foreflight. There is so much to learn about this app that there is no way you can learn it on your own. The workload would be overwhelming to try to figure this out in real time while flying. You need to master this on the ground... In a simulator. Great video.

You guys should have a training subscription that only connects to flight sims. Much cheaper for people not really using this for real flying.

Yes!!! I am a pilot that can no longer fly in the real world. I can't justify the full subscription, regardless of how much I loved foreflight!

I just started using ForeFlight with my simulator and once I got it to work I love it! Pilot Edge isn't in the Houston area, so I am using Vatsim which is not bad -- free too!

I love this app. I wish this app was out when I was learning to fly. I don’t fly actively any more but I do fly simulator. I can maintain my skills and enhanced my situational awareness. Great job.

Amazing video! You guys always stay ahead of the competition! As an upcoming twitch streamer, I would love to implement this into my stream with both flightsim and IPad being broadcasted. Is it possible to think about creating a more gui software just for flightsim at a reduced cost per year? I know this would carry well into the chair pilots. Keep up the good work!

The problem here is: This is a crucial App if you not use it for flight sims. Someone's life could depend on this. You never can make an android app where you can guarantee that it runs flawless on any device. There are to many different hardware configurations out there and every company makes there own changes to Android. You can't test all these possibilities. This is one of the only positive points for Apple devices when you look at it from the viewpoint of a developer.

One thing that is frustrating with ForFlight and simming when I am using it on my sim with navigational progression all of real-world aircraft and simulations aircraft go away and all I have is my navigational airplane. I enjoyed have other aircraft because I wouldl actually train in real time to navigate around, under, over, slow-down, speed-up, etc. to make it real. I have turned all the switches on for depicting actual aircraft.

When adding weather to a scenario in MS FS 2020, such as having a thunderstorm or cloud cover, will that show up on Foreflight the same way it would in the real world with ADSB in.

I remember playing the original flight simulator operating in "DOS", on an Apple II plus computer back in the late 1980s, when I was a 10 year old kid!! 😂 ...It's insane how far flight simulators have come!!
