There is a chance that some Poco phones that will get HyperOS 2 might have the Xiaomi System Launcher as the default launcher, thus removing the POCO Launcher from those selected phones. If that happens, it would be better.
The only question is the consistencies of this smoothness. After a few months of not restarting the phone and after a hundred of files and apps saved, the thing i've observed on "some" android is if your files is scattered all over the folders it will slow down and lagged.
When did you test this last? And on what android phone and version.. Cause for close to 6 years now.. I haven't witnessed that.. And I've used only two phones in these years.. Currently on a Xiaomi.. Considering the Xiaomi 15 as an upgrade next year.
Exactly my thinking, this is why I went for Xiaomi 15. smallest form factor and probably worst cooling. Check the channel in 20 min, dropping some interesting sustained perfkmecne testing.
Apples animations are too slow.. here Xiaomi is banned. I wait one ui 7 and hope lot improve, they have @@VelianSpeaksTechpressure to make it better I think, but I still like this 6.1 even though it is a bit weaker visually than the competitors at the moment.

Why Hyper os is focusing so much widgets and lockscreen, rater than giving some good features like pixel 0s or OnePlus (Oxygen os) I know widgets and lockscreen are part of updates, but they're more likely focusing on only base level they're not going through bottom level, like data usage on notification panel, and giving PDF option in gallery.
I tried Xiaomi 14 in a store and the ui went unresponsive when trying to exit that pre-installed Xiaomi app called "security" and same thing happened with many other Xiaomi apps.. i just open the app and then cant exit it untill the app goes through the loading screen.
For those who is confused between *HyperOS 2** & OxygenOS/ColorOS 15* here's the comparison as i have used both - - OxygenOS better at if we open apps freaking fast. - Xiaomi's HyperOS 2 blur is far superior then Oxygen - Ui design is better (HyperOS 2) - Ai features better are better - Control center & it's animation are better - Lock screen is much better and well implemented, it has more styles, more widgets, we can use video wallpaper with depth effect etc overall if you want to buy a phone with OxygenOS or HyperOS 2, i will recommend HyperOS 2, next OS update & it will have parallel animations too, HyperOS 2 has more interrupt animations overall in ui then then OxygenOS/ColorOS 15 but HyperOS 2 has much better ui and useful features like *Second Space*, *free themes* (you can theme your phone according to festival or something), Super wallpapers like shown in 0:30 since years etc. *Tested on 1+ 12 & Xiaomi 15*
are all these features also present in mid-range xiaomi phones? because i have experienced in samsung, not all oneui 6.1 features are present in their A series devices but only on their S and flagships. i hope this is not the same for xiaomi.
Those are called super wallpapers Pixels support live wallpapers though, I think all phones do I use an app called Zedge for most of my phone's customizing

All of the new chinese phone releases have this. ColorOS 15 being the best on the Android side of thing right now. Best however is HarmonyOS Next still.
Hi Velian, I am using the Chinese/English version of the Xiaomi 14. It has received the update to Hyper OS 2.06 on the 25th of november and since then the Camera APP is not working well in Video Pro Mode. I use the Front setting of the microphone Array. It records concerts very dull now. Before the update recordings were nice and crisp. It seems that it does not use the microphone near the lenses at all. (Little hole in the lower corner) Besides that the the zoom slider is gone in video mode, only the zoom wheel is available like in photo Mode. Maybe there will be another update soon, I hope. Better not update to Hyper OS 2, too late for me now.... Is the Xiaomi 15 Camera APP the same as in the 14 ? ( Does the Xiaomi 15 also use a 4 microphone array) Thanks

@user-ij8no5zw6u- mine is s24u, it took me some months to get used to the placing of the fingerprint sensor because I was previously using a32 4g wich had the sensor in a lower position. But now got used to it and I dont misclick so I got no problem with mine.. maybe u use a screen protector? Just take it off its useless it will only protect u from scratches. Wich is not worth it because u will have to look at a dull display because screen protector ruins the colors and the crispiness and the brightness. I prefer having a scratch or two instead of looking at a dull screen because of screen protector + your fingerprint sensor will work fine.
HarmonyOS Next is actually a bit more perfect and smoother, but HyperOS 2 is of course an incredible difference compared to One Ui 6.1! I really hope that One Ui 7 performs at the same level in terms of smoothness and stability

I really really hope Samsung comes out with something similar in fluidity as this. I'll be grateful for even 80% of this fluidity, but knowing Samsung, they will probably miss out on some annoying "attention to detail" stuff, as I've seen in the past with One UI 5.0 and 6.0. What's good is that they have made slight improvements to their UI with unofficial monthly updates, sooo fingers crossed. This year they won't have time to release the Galaxy S25 with the One UI 7.1 version so the 7.0 will have to be really refined.

I swear I can't even say one thing in the tech community without getting into an argument with someone. You can see a disappearance of the widget IF YOU WATCH CLOSELY! There is a 0.25x button btw use it! And just so you know I am not hating on Xiaomi, iPhones lag more than this.
I actually face a lot of stutter from HyperOS 1. MUI and HyperOS is not really smooth. Smoothness should not be just defined by he transitions in wallpapers but also with system interactions. Some portion of the system just fails to be animated and stutters often. I have stable HyperOS 1. So maybe it changed in the version 2.0?
Im using Civi 4 pro and K70 for almost a year, for me HyperOS 1 is great leap from MIUI. I don't experience any stutter or lag issue on the animations. Im not sure for their budget smartphones, definitely it might have bugs and lag animations since the processor is low.
This lock screen customization is very good, it's blowing my mind. We will never have this on One UI 7. I'm very jealous of Xiaomi users. Just this thing may make me consider buying a Xiaomi phone.

OxygenOS introduced a very similar thing in OS15 the smoothness is absolutely crazy. Definitely the smoothest ever. On Oneplus 12 it is unbelievable.

No need as they have 3 stock animations settings, relaxed, the one I showed, fast and none.

Some portion of the system just fails to be animated and stutters often. I have stable HyperOS 1. So maybe it changed in the version 2.0?

Im using Civi 4 pro and K70 for almost a year, for me HyperOS 1 is great leap from MIUI. I don't experience any stutter or lag issue on the animations. Im not sure for their budget smartphones, definitely it might have bugs and lag animations since the processor is low.

This lock screen customization is very good, it's blowing my mind. We will never have this on One UI 7. I'm very jealous of Xiaomi users. Just this thing may make me consider buying a Xiaomi phone.
The lockscreen customization is nowhere near OneUI level. I've used both.
