I can vouch that I can just take a flight and have nasi lemak McD. The first meal I had after landing in Malaysia last month was McD nasi lemak + teh tarik + milo ..yummylicious and was in heaven ! McD in the country where I live is nothing as compared to Mekdi Malaysia !!
For me when I lived abroad and came back to visit, I would always get KFC because it's not halal in other countries. McD I can sometimes get the fish burger in other countries.
Lol..its not even the rral nasi lemak..mcd has the lousy one..nothing comparrd to the real nasi lemak bought from stall

i have a friend who works in Singapore Mcd but he often came to Johor just to have chicken and nasi lemak Mcd. during the covid pandemic he stay in Singapore and didn't came back to Malaysia for 2 years.after the lifted MCO, the first things he do is go to McDonald's in Johor just to eat his favourite foods.
So nasi lemak is a regular item at Malaysia Mcds?

I had nasi lemak McD for the first time yesterday and it was surprisingly great. Nasi lemak is Malaysia's iconic food and you can have it anywhere any place in Malaysia and it will always be great.
To any other person who can't stand spicy, remind that Jimmy and iChang has Malaysia level spice tolerance 😁
I think the sambal is still spicy for westerner or to some Japanese. Next upgrade is Indonesian level spice 🌶

When you say you love nasi lemak vibe both at stall and Mcd, i definitely agree with you!!
That is what makes nasi lemak so special as it can be enjoyed as simple breakfast such as nasi lemak bungkus RM1 with just boiled egg, sambal, 3 pieces ikan bilis and kacang, or you can eat it with luxury at grand restaurant, with extravagant side dishes as lobster or rendang daging etc.
The flexibility of nasi lemak makes it acceptable across all level of people so we are proud to call it as our Malaysian national dish!!

Cheapest I can find now for triangle nasi lemak is RM2. Starting to see RM3 but it's rare, though I think will be norm in near future.
@@chewke8548 in my area, you can still find RM1 nasi lemak bungkus one yang sudah siap bungkus in smaller size compared with dulu2.
Portion wise, I think it is suitable for person/women who prefer breakfast just to isi perut, bukan kenyang giler la haha.
When anyone visit Malaysia and they start eat anything by mixing few side dishes to be eaten with rice at one feed.. Means they are already Malaysian DNA.. hehehe. Rice taken with ciken, or beef or vege or curry, sambal or anything will be top class taste.. Ur guys vids never disappointed us.. Totally pure and natural..

Nasi Lemak McD is guaranteed delicious and almost or not is as authentic as nasi lemak on the street. You would think nasi lemak in a fast food restaurant is something they did it carelessly but it's not. It's really good, really authentic.

I hope you both can come to Kuching, Sarawak. Borneo island. Try, laksa sarawak, kolo mee both halal n non halal. Should try authentic local cuisine also. Ayam pansuh, umai ikan, pucuk midin goreng belacan, very2 worth it. Who knows, you can cook sarawak local cuisine next time.

I'm Sabahan and I love Laksa Sarawak very much! I personally don't like laksa bcause it's fishy but I went to study at LMC in Labuan. Tried the Laksa Sarawak and it's so yummy! But my Sarawak friend said it's nothing compared to the real Laksa Sarawak. Been craving it since last year and I genuinely hope I can visit Sarawak for the original taste of Laksa Sarawak!

Actually the box can be a plate,just look at the side of the box then expand the box to become flat . The reason is I know eating in a box can be a struggle especially with chicken 🤣🤣🤣🤣 After the box is flat,u can use your hand also

I never tried McDs nasi lemak until watching this video. I am a fan of the ayam goreng spicy so usually took the chicken set. But after watching this video, my curiosity was peaked. Tried it and was surprised how yummy it was… rice was pretty good for a fast food joint. And sambal surprised me the most - i was assuming it would taste a little artificial. Just wished I could switch to hard-boiled egg. Thanks iChang and Jimmy for getting me to try!
