    Hi Barry, thank you for showing us this, it's obviously a capable and good looking watch. Fifty two millimetres lug to lug is too big for me though. Keep them coming, Barry, cheers, Bob 🍷

      I've never really looked at this brand before but for a sub £1000 model it doesn't look to bad, just a seem its a little to be for my taste also Bob 😊

    Instead of being a hater, I went and seen it in person.
    It is a surprisingly nice watch that I liked a lot.
    When on the wrist, I felt invigorated, was happy with the vibes this piece was giving.
    Felt like I was ready to take a boat to adventure on a sunny summer morning; That says a lot.
    I think it is very easy to fell in to, the not want to even see it if it's own by Swatch and it is a pity as I would have taking this off my radar without giving it a chance.

    So pleased you’re featuring this under rated brand. They have a great pedigree and sell well in other parts of the world but virtually unknown in the uk.
    The DS action diver in titanium and the DS 500 with orange dial and rubber strap are both spectacular in my opinion. Both under £1k, and build quality is excellent. I’ve been sorely tempted.
    Thanks again this is one of their classics. For me I’m just not a big fan of shiny/gloss bezels

      I fancied reviewing something different and Ryan did say its a big seller but you never see anyone really telling about them, I do like reviewing lots of different brands you don't always see others doing :)

    Looks good. Nice that they are doing this particular one with sapphire now instead of just mineral. May have to add one to the collection in future.

    Very nice piece, if only it was a bit smaller- 39/40mm and 47 lug to lug would be perfect for me.

      @ClickSpringReview  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree Nick say 40 and 47 lug to lug I think is the classic size after all the Rolex Sub was that size for over 50 years

    Amazing see a Certina watch ! That one is amazing but it’s too big Certina was in the past a very good brand , still is but what the hack is these huge case’s lug to lug so big 😳 only for Giant wrist size guys , have a Certina DS Action 2 blue dial it’s almost king size , but still wear it and a powermatic 80 black dial almost brand new thinking sell it , anyway very cool watch this model 👍 too big but nice design, the DS means double security Barry that watch in Portugal or Spain it’s less expensive around 700/800 euros if I’m not wrong that’s from 2022 or earlier, if they made it with 40 mm case and lug to lug 47.5 mm would had bought it or trade it with my Powermatic DS Action 2 diver😉
    All the best for your channel

    Thanks for a featuring a brand/watch I usually don't look at. Very much like a Christopher Ward c65 trident manual wind; a lot of retro and domed crystal. definitely think a faded leather strap completes the look.

      @@ClickSpringReview definitely hope your channel succeed. Not only am I a sinn fan and you have the most recent Sinn reviews and releases (thank you Ryan) but being a mechanical engineer I value your unique perspectives as a future watch/clock maker/repairer. Can't wait to see you getting more skills and tools from your training to really put watches to critical tests (not just a beauty contest).

      Yep they are Mark, The BE is pretty straightforward but the rate is a little harder you adjust the 2 screws on the balance wheel

    I own this very same watch and your Sinn104 on the same bracelet. I would not recommend this watch myself. I paid £640 after bit of bartering in E.J's. I never wear it! It's too much like my lower end Baltany watches costing £150. If I'm going out I put a Sinn or Longines on, or Omega/Rolex . This watch doesn't really have a seat were it fits, even with the mesh bracelet on it. Not a bad watch but not very impressive on the wrist IMO.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      thats fair enough Sir I've got something of a collection myself and I rotate them every day so can be something very high end one day and the next a Seiko 5 , I like mixing it up 👍🏻 ps always good to hear of owners of the watches

  • @CowCatwithafancyHat
    @CowCatwithafancyHat ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You know, most of those Swatch Group watches are the mirror of all those GM vehicles; Heartless.
    The slightest different but kept safe (just enough to sell, sell, sell), nothing fun, noteworthy or whoever forbids something outstanding.
    A true disappointment and a tragedy of what those names represent.
    Sadly I see this piece as a shell and I would not even consider it over a cheaper Baltic that at least fells like it has identity.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I see where your coming from Adrain its just a shame there aren't more independent companies out there , or maybe there are its just we don't hear them above the big groups , I will try and contact Baltic and see if they will allow me to review one of there watches

      @@ClickSpringReview Baltic was an example to underline my need of seeing some difference, some originality between the watch brands under Swatch Group.
      Seiko is a good example, their dials are spectacular, the set of hands more varied all this at affordable pricing; They have character.

    • @Dan-uo3pv
      @Dan-uo3pv ปีที่แล้ว +3

      At the affordable level Hamilton watches are excellent and have kept their own personality despite being part of the larger group. Fair enough though Certina/Tissot and Mido divers are all very similar. I wouldn't say heartless thought. All of those brands still have real heritage and their own design cues.

      @@Dan-uo3pv You are absolutely right Sir!
      Hamilton Khaki (example) is a superb watch, accessory, dialog starter. The convex dial, color ambiance, tasteful case sizes and design; Is what represents a true Seiko competitor.

      DS super PH500 has some charm to it, but yeah as good as the value proposition is I found myself not too drawn. I like more out there designs.
