The folding-on-the-bottom technique is so ingenious! My dog has been digging holes on the bottom of the fence and escaping to the neighbors (their dog is her BFF). I’ve tried several ways to reinforce the fence but my dog always outsmarts me. Now I can finally show her who the boss is! Thank you for sharing!
Did it work? I have a houdini and now he has an assistant. They go run over to the neighbor's house as well. I've added garden spikes to the bottom but they still find a way 😩
Putting up a garden fence is really a big help to our garden and it depends on what materials to be utilized. On the other hand, it will surely help our garden to remain beautiful and free from any stray animals or even unwanted guests. Thanks for the information!
Where did this guy go? I just found his channel and noticed he hasn't posted in 5 years, kind of odd to just up and leave 4,000 followers behind. You all good? Thank you for making the videos that you have
This is the best fencing video and technique on the interweb. Brilliant idea to bend the bottom away from the garden, so much easier than digging a trench.
This is a great video with some good advice. If you're really industrious, you good dig a narrow trench about 8-10" deep and bury part of the fence into the ground instead of bending it, but I like the idea of bending it too.
Great tips, I have rabbit issues and deer issues. They drive me nuts. I am just waiting until next weekend, should be our last weekend for possible frost. Can't wait to garden this year.
God bless you sir. You helped me out so much with the idea to bend it at the bottom as I figured some animals would try to just dig out from under the fence. Again thanks so much for your ideas and sharing. (:
Great video Kenny. Where do you buy the fence wiring? Is this special ordered? I do agree with other viewers that a gate is essential for gardener to get in and out? Anyone had tried adding one to this fencing? And if so, how did you go about it?
That's a great idea! Ken recommended 1x1 (or 1x2) 48" vinyl coated wire welded + standard metal fence post. However, I can't find that size of hardware vinyl coated wire. I checked fr Amazon, HD, TSC, Lowe's, Walmart. Where can I buy? Pls help. TIA.
Hi Kenny, just watched your video. My kids and I are going to try a garden during our quarantine time. What kind of fence did you use, is there a specific name other than "vinyl coated" "vinyl welded". Can I get it at the big box stores? Thanks for the help.
does anyone know if this type of fencing unhooks easily from the posts? I'm trying to keep my dog out of my garden without having to build a gate. if the fencing unhooks relatively easily, I can just use the fencing itself as a gate. thanks!!
I'm also curious about the door... How do you get in the garden? I have a 6 x 12 raised bed and want to fence it in, say maybe 10 x 16 so I can get all around it.
This is great. I'm gonna use this for my dog . A small dog a Min Pin . loves to dig and I can keep my 2 year old in the yard too . love the bending of the fence at bottom . I don't have enough money to put in a fence this will be perfect . thanks so much .
Great video, Kenny! I was planning to get my garden fenced too and was doing research about type of fencing to use, your video showed up right on time! Thank you!
Nice video. Can you please produce a video showing how to build a fence gate? You did not mention anything in the video about building a gate for the vegetable garden. Thanks
You get those posts in the ground by using a post hole pounder. They are very slick. They slip over the top of the stake and then you just pound the steaks/poles in.
Hello Kenny. I know the last bottom two hooks on those t-posts are facing downward. What's the best way to get them all on without bending the fence to hell?
Thank you for this video. İ saw it too laye after i installed my fence and i had the animal digging and eating my vegi.İ have a question if i put the bended 12 inch vertically not horizantly as u did would it work??? İ had hard time with the fence i already installed and i do not want to bring it down. Kindly advice back. Thanks
Wow you present a solution that may work for me. The idea of folding the fence will help me with dogs raccoons and possums as they all have went under the fence! Thanks and have a blessed day
Nice video, I'm going to try this. I've come to the conclusion that fencing is really the only sure method of keeping critters out of the garden. I LOL@1:41 when you flung the old fencing...out with the old, in with the new! :D
I have rabbits also but they do not eat too much it's the deer who destroy a row of green beans so I put up an electric fence sometime right down to one foot next to the row of green beans and tomato plants very frustrating If you have any idea's post it. Thanks

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You are my new best friend. I'm 57 and just moved to the country for the first time. Want a garden and need fencing.
Jan Romer z Surreal me too I am 54.
I love the idea of bending the fence and putting it on the ground to keep animals from digging. Thank you for sharing!
That is an awesome tip. I was going to dig down 4-6 inches around the perimeter of the whole garden but this will save me a lot of time for sure.
They also say to bend the top so they can’t climb it
instablaster.
His disclaimer at the end is priceless...thank you for such a great, informative video!👍🏻🙂🍅

Bending extra fence out like that is a great idea. Saves from having to cut it and helps to keep the critters out. Thanks for the video.
SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN A MEDAL FOR SHARING THE FOLDING TIP
Genius idea bending the fencing at the bottom. Super helpful video, thanks Kenny!
It would be nice if you mentioned where you ordered the fence and the name of the fence company
Where did this guy go? I just found his channel and noticed he hasn't posted in 5 years, kind of odd to just up and leave 4,000 followers behind. You all good? Thank you for making the videos that you have
Great informative video, it's my first time doing a garden this year so I'll definitely be using this technique when I put the fencing up.
Thanks, Kenny! I am planning to build a garden fence this summer. This was very informative.
that was a sick maneuver with that fencing...I will be using that one
I bury mine about 9" into the ground then bend the top 3" so anything that climbs will not be able to get over the top.
I want to try this using wood panels for a 6 ft fence.....just 4 panels . Can’t afford proper installation. Think it would work?
love your name and your voice! i hope you're still doing these.
That's the tidiest fence I've seen in any of the videos I've watched, and I've watched a lot. Finally, a fence I wouldn't mind having in my yard.
violetxoxox i
can't wait for spring to come. finally get warmer and get outside to feel about doing something like this and feel good.
Hi Kenny - How to make an entry way into the garden when fenced? TY
This is the best fencing video and technique on the interweb. Brilliant idea to bend the bottom away from the garden, so much easier than digging a trench.
Excellent video and great tips! Fence looked great
That was very informative and the folded fencing gets 10 points.
Any suggestions on how to put a gate on a u post fence? Was hoping this video might show an entry point being made...
So how do you get into your garden? Do you make some sort of gate?
Thanks for the video. I've tried to plant so many times just to see my efforts wasted. I'll be starting my fence this weekend
Hello Kenny, Thank you for sharing this video! May I ask the brand name and type of fence and posts you used in this video?
SeanPatrickMedia Surreal.

I never thought about the size of the rabbit body. Usually the fir makes them appear a lot larger. Excellent point.
Great video.
Probably similar to mice, able to squeeze through any space no smaller than their skull.
God bless you sir. You helped me out so much with the idea to bend it at the bottom as I figured some animals would try to just dig out from under the fence. Again thanks so much for your ideas and sharing. (:
Kenny, thanks for posting the video. how do you handle building the door to the fencing, to allow access?
This was so helpful! I thought I had to dig down and put the fence in the ground. Didn't know I could lay it on top!
You gotta dig for groundhog prevention, this is cool for rabbits
Great video Kenny. Where do you buy the fence wiring? Is this special ordered? I do agree with other viewers that a gate is essential for gardener to get in and out? Anyone had tried adding one to this fencing? And if so, how did you go about it?
How do you get in and out of the fenced in area? Did you build a gate? Can you show it? Thanks!

Do you remember the brand of fence you bought or where you purchased it? I am looking for the same type of wire and mesh size.
sandywjo5 Exactly surreal my points too, Kenny and Sandywj05.
Nice video Kenny. What gauge and height? 4 ft? folded 1x2
Great, helpful video! I'm new at this. At what interval do you recommend for the stakes?
Man, you would be an awesome neighbor
Well done. Question. When you lower the fence, can’t deer then jump it being below 4 feet.
Your videos and website are wonderful and so down to earth (no pun intended)
Do you have a link where to purchase the fencing in this vid?
Holy crap this guy is a genius... Rolling it down prevents dogs from digging out. Wow. Glad I watched this
Hi Kenny , can I have an advise regarding the fence? Well I have but it is 2 ×3 in is it good or not ? Thanks.

wow this was great! never heard of the bending the fence trick but that looks like a fantastic hack for confusing burrowers!
I am having trouble locating this fence. Did you buy from one of the big box stores? Lowe's or Home Depot? Thanks!!
please post where you got that fencing? cost? good vid.
Probably tractor supply or Agri supply or agway
Looks super-expensive. It should do the job though.
Allie Hunter Yes me too.
Excellent and very informative video on how to keep rabbits out of my garden-thank you sir!!
Kenny Point, YOU'RE THE MAN!!
Do you have deer problems? We have bunnies, deers and squirrels 😢 I think may be we have to make it higher, any suggestions???
Nice presentation. You are now my fencing expert.
Kenny, I really like this easy type of fencing but can you show how to add a door to this type of fencing? Thanks!
Pamela Ausejo Surreal true.
Great video, Kenny!
I was planning to get my garden fenced too and was doing research about type of fencing to use, your video showed up right on time!
Thank you!
How tall a fence do you recommend to prevent deer in my garden??
Just needed to watch this gardening fence video. Good job, thank you
Thanks for this useful video! It helped me with fencing for my garden and also gave me a point of reference for my chicken run I'm building too.
Nice video. Can you please produce a video showing how to build a fence gate? You did not mention anything in the video about building a gate for the vegetable garden. Thanks
Thank you for sharing I found it helpful. Love your sister in Christ.
Nice video. Nice pace. Nice sound. Nice guy. I'm going to put up my fence now, thanks.

Did bending the fence work to keep them out? As I've heard barry it so this would be easier if that works
Thanks. What abou a gate or how to get in to weed, harvest etc?
I got this fence yesterday but didn't realize you needed the poles, so I used wooden planks instead, works well. Now waiting for a bug cover to come.
Very practical video, guardrail quality is very good
Hello Kenny. I know the last bottom two hooks on those t-posts are facing downward. What's the best way to get them all on without bending the fence to hell?
Thank you. I gathering ideas for fencing by far this is the easiest one. Thanks Kenny
Great video! Can someone post a link on this thread of where to buy the kind of fencing that Kenny suggests?
Very helpful ideas, thanks, especially the folded portion against the ground.
Just what I needed, to keep my rabbits IN! Thank you!
Finally!!!!! A BLACK PERSON VIDEO ON THIS!!!
You've obviously never been to the desert on a horse with no name.
This a race issue?
Not unless you're in a hurry.
Darryl Jordan Surreal exactly true!
Darryl Jordan 😂

Where did you get the 48” fence you used?
Thanks for posting this, got inspiration for my dog fence project
how do you get into to the garden... do you have a door ?
Great video. I'd also like to know how you actually get into the garden once the fence is erected
I have 3 cats assigned to the garden area. It's working so far.
Nice video, I'm going to try this. I've come to the conclusion that fencing is really the only sure method of keeping critters out of the garden. I LOL@1:41 when you flung the old fencing...out with the old, in with the new! :D
I know this sounds stupid, but I'm new at gardening and where did you buy the fence and metal poles?

Thanks a lot you are awesome!!! And very helpful with all of your tips
Thanks Kenny. It is a pleasure finding you. Where’d you get that fencing?

Mr Kenny where did you purchase your fencing from or the name of it
Thank you Kenny! I have rabbits too plus I need to keep the dogs out of the garden. What about a gate?
