What I wouldn't give for a Hanna Barbara Scooby Doo style Cartoon series on the Midnight Express, I can't unsee Bobby sleepwalking and saying " Jimmy I'm scared!"
And Skinny early 20s Cornette scooby doo eating burgers on his burger towel racket whacking ghosts unmasking Jim Herd, Bobbys bag full of everything underr the sun, Stan chasing rats etc.
Elems187 Hercules knocking a ring invading fan in to a wall and out for a week with a slap. "Jimmy... if you hit someone with your fist you can hurt 'em"
"Bobby would sleepwalk...sleepwalking... he ate spicy food or pepperoni pizza ya know..." lmfao I can listen to corndog all day, he's probably one of the most enjoyable story tellers telling the most enjoyable stories lol
As someone who lives right outside Chicago, the areas around Midway and O'Hare couldn't be more different. I couldn't imagine a bunch of southern boys flying into Chicago expecting to stay near O'Hare where it's surrounded by hotels and nice restaurants and is genuinely suited for traveling businessmen, and ending up in Midway trying to find a cab and motel at 3 am (especially in the 80's).
I'm always amazed when someone tells a story and they recall the year precisely and they're correct about it as if it happened last week. I'm good for my birth year, September 11th, and everything else is "sometime back in the 80's, 90's, or 10 to 20 years ago maybe" etc.
I've never seen a video or even a picture with Dick Murdoch in it.. but i picture him looking, sounding and generally acting like the rich texan out of The Simpsons 😂
Being right in the middle of the triangle of SF, Sacramento and Fresno. I can tell you that the "Corny Car Spin" on an I-80 or I-580 mega 5-6 lane highway is a pants shitting experience. You're also going downhill btw. And California roads in the rain are shit and nobody knows how to drive worth a shit in the rain...Amazing that he made it out unscathed. Great story.
Imagine checking into your hotel and it is late you make your way to the room and as you round a corner after having drinks before and after the wrestling show and you see a sleep walking Beautiful Bobby being escorted to his room by a dazed underwear clad James E. Cornette and sleepy Dennis Condry and they look at you while you are gawking and yell no autographs at this time. MIND BLOWN.
Ahh, White Castle. A buddy and I stopped at one on 8 Mile Rd. in Warren, across the road from Detroit. We ordered $25 worth of food, but the cashier gave it to us for free, no explanation given. We are both still alive, and neither if us got sick that night, so it was all good.
Jim Cornette is my absolute favorite ever! I could listen to him tell stories all freaking day! I mean you just know that he is always truthful and he is so freaking funny too! LOL!
lmfao it's just piece of a stretch with little roads off to the side ... colver pa at night does it for me ..that place is spooky not a whole lot of street lights ..real rural
I've seen most of Jim and Brian's videos, have laughed a lot, but I think "Corny, I'm scared" takes the fucking cake. Like, given how much of a fucking tough guy Bobby is, if HE is scared, I'd be under the bed with a fuckin' knife or something just waiting.
This made me remember a time when I was little. My parents and I would travel once or twice a year to places all over the country. During one stop at a hotel, they were mistakenly given a room that turned out to be occupied already. The man and woman who were fooling around on the bed weren't too happy for the interruption. I think we, and that couple, all wound up staying for free that night.
The park is still there. Its Huge from 67th and St Louis to 67th and California up to 71st. Marquette park is not a good place to find yourself at at all.
When they started talking about people contacting you and how they got them to leave them alone, I flashed back to a time when a bill collector was calling me at my moms house and she answered it then gave the phone to me, they asked for me by name, and I told them "You won't be able to speak to him because he recently died. They apologized, and I ever heard from them again.
if anyone has never known someone who sleeps walks trust me it's super creepy,,my cousin use to sleep walk and she even got out of the locked house and walked down the street at 3 in the morning and house she was only 10

He is 100 percent correct about Star City, Arkansas. There is no city lol. Not even a village. I live in Little Rock, Arkansas and Star City might have 150 people in it.
Unless there's 2 in Chicago, I think I've actually seen the Airlner Inn. Looks suitably sketchy from the outside, but so do most things around Midway Airport.
Sounds like trips I've taken but we broke down in Forest City, Arkansas. Lol. Same thing tho. Little podunk town. And I agree with Jim. Forget driving in those blizzards. Nope nope nope.
There's a video on here where a guy gets his room key from front desk and goes to the first rooms he sees and opens every door. He's not even on that floor. They just make Em master keys cause it's on click instead of 4-5 to assign a room to them.
I slept walked once and ended up in a random SeaTac parking lot peeing by a car. Naked. No idea how I got there. Where my clothes were. I ran from a crowd of men. I found my hotel and they gave me a damn washcloth to cover myself. I got in the elevator covering my lower region. The door opened and two guys got in. They stared and said ‘How’s your night going?!’ I said ‘great!’ And jumped out and ran down the hallway. Next day the desk guy said I walked out if the lobby completely naked. He tried to get my attention and I stared right through him and walked out the door. I asked him why he didn’t call the cops and he kindly said it was clear I was sleepwalking. He probably shoulda though since about five guys chased after me.
Yeah i recently flew into chicago on christmas eve thinking i was going to Ohare….nope ended up at fuckin midway from 10:30am to 5pm….needless to say there was a lot of booze consumed within those hours lol and a expensive ass tab.

I'm dying picturing Jim when he realized he was giving his own ring truck the finger.

White Castle is definitely an acquired taste (which I do not have)
