2014+ Silverado sierra Rattling sound under the steering wheel

- So I have had this rattling sound for some time now and I have been trying to figure out where it was coming from. Finally found the rattle and decided to tackle it.

Holy crap! I've been hearing this for a month or so. When I push on the panel the noise will stop! I'll bet this is the culprit! Can't wait to check. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

That fixed my rattle noise! Thanks for the help. I used removable loctite because I hear everyone has this problem

I had the exact same rattle on my Yukon. I initially thought the rattle was coming from the door but I eventually determined that it was coming from under the steering wheel. Thanks a ton for your video.

2017 ram bighorn... here from a google search. I BET this is what i'm hearing. I was thinking the spring in the tilt switch... but after seeing this video, the sound i'm hearing could absolutely be one or more of those screws. thanks for posting!

Jorge Rangel just finished tightening the four bolts. Amazing how one ws just a little loose and two looked almost completely loose. Thanks a bundle.
Can't fault mine for rattling loose after over 100k miles, but glad to tighten them down myself after gaining some knowledge.

My 2015 sierra has the same exact rattle. I also get it on the dash in the middle near the windshield. I heard of others getting that as well.

Alex Curtis I figured the same issue too. I know having oversized tires doesn't help as it's making things rattle.
My 2015 has this same rattle. I pulled that panel off and those screws are all loose.

How do you get the trim piece off once you pull the 2 screws out?
Just pull it out, is held by clips
Mine was the code reader when I reached down and held it sound went away
I have the same fucking problem!!!!! Have to tighten them all the time glad I'm not the only one
My ‘16 had the same problem. Easy fix at least.
