Not only did we have the privilege to listen to some of, if not the greatest singers this world has ever had but we also got to listen to some of the best bands, members of bands who were so very talented. I don’t know what has happened to this world but people can’t sing like they did decades ago, even movies aren’t as good. We are blessed, every single one of us who lived through those years are so lucky and we all share the same extraordinary memories. We simply had the best of everything.
That signature guitar lick and terrific drums are part of what makes this song so great, in addition to the lyrics and vocals. I just LOVE IT even after 28 years!!

I'm watching this on September 18, 2020. My town just got hit from Hurricane Sally and I'm sitting here with no electricity and Wi-Fi. I will drain my cell battery watching this, but I don't care. Lol! This song made me forget all the cares in the world. I was only 17 when this song come out and I played this cassette tape over and over. I feel very blessed that I lived in an era I had the best music available, I know these singers also did they partying and all but they never lost the class, was watching the interview after the show with with Mick and Gota, the friendship but the respect nobody is calling nobody bro no cursing no vulgarities no need to show they relevant, cause they don't needed, they are the real deal in all senses of the way, I was always a big fan from day one of Simply Red. I am also a big fan of Journey, from Steve Perry era another great man and singer and there's a few more great bands from around that time with amazing talent, I wish the new artist had learned something.
