I saw a very slight delay and that is to fit your vision and your eyes just realise latency in about 125 ms (I realise it already if it is 85 ms) and his sound is a little late.
Techquickie LinusTechTips could you please do a video on all the different calbes? comparing SPDIFm HDMI, HDMI 2.0, thunderbolt, USB 3.0 and... anything interesting you guys can find - I think that that would be really helpful and entertaining for a lot of people :)
+Gustavo Kaplon There's an on/off switch on the Canon lenses because it isn't always useful. It's useless when taking panoramas on a tripod for example as it can try to compensate for something it doesn't need to compensate for. You tend to take a series of shots rather than a continuous burst with DSLR's when doing those kind of things then stitch them together in Photoshop in post. It's also annoying when you want to take multiple exposures of things too because it could offset the framing slightly for when you come to edit it later (for things like product photography for example). The biggest joy of things like a DSLR is they give you ultimate control of everything, or they can do it all for you. You get fine grain control of all settings and options which is why they're so versatile but can at the same time be overly complex for many people who just want to take a picture and carry on with life.
Linus! A Topic for you! Can you PLEASE make a comparison once and for all about what the big differences are between DLP and LCD Projectors!? I am really stuck as to which type of projector has the least amount of input lag as possible (for gaming of course). Can you please settle this? Thank you so much for your consideration.
thecoolman3060 Productions That's what I'm trying to say. I wouldn't *recommend* it, and that's my opinion. I'm entitled to it, and you're entitled to disagree with it.
"Isn't this video a bit late? My had this a few years ago..." Meanwhile, Canon released their first optically stabilized lens in 1995. You're all a bit late
purefatdude2 I wasn't saying this video was late. I just thought it hilarious that lots of people seem to think optical image stabilization was invented with their Nokia Lumias or something, and thought this vid was too late because those phones are a couple years old..
Kitsunemimi A decade ago thousands of uninformed twits didn't have the means to put their opinions on a public space viewed by other thousands of uninformed twits, however. I am so much fun aren't I.
I know the Sony A7 Mark 2 has in body 5 axis stabilization but when you use a lens that has stabilization the Sony A7 Mark 2 will change to three axis stabilization when a lens is on that has stabilization. Also newer Olympus cameras like the Olympus OMD E-M10 and the Olympus Pen E-PL7 have in body 3 axis stabilization and use software stabilization to help out even more.
Ok, so... in the Cannon camera, you can see an on/off button to turn the stabilization on or off, so my question is, why would you turn it off? Shouldn't that be always on? (like no button always on)
I would love for a ~10 minute techquickie video which goes a bit slower but better explains the subject. I didn't understand most of what was being said and would appreciate a gradual increase in the technical details than that sudden jump (explaining each camera part to a beginner in cameras). That being said, I know this request may benefit a niche, but I would lover to see a ~3-4 hour video which brings the average Joe up to date on every camera part and feature, what it is and what it does, and an example of it. Similarly for audio- what is dynamic range, mid and low frequencies, bass, etc. in one video to bring the average Joe up to speed on something in its entirety.

Let me tell you a story to chill the bones
About a thing that I saw
One night wondering in the everglades
I had one drink but no more
I was rambling, enjoying the bright moonlight
Gazing up at the stars
Not aware of a presence so near to me
Watching my every move
Feeling scared and I fell to my knees
As something rushed me from the trees
Took me to an unholy place
And that is where I fell from grace
Then they summoned me over to join in with them
To the dance of the dead
Into the circle of fire I followed them
Into the middle I was led
As if time had stopped still I was numb with fear
But still I wanted to go
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me
As I walked onto the coals
Then I felt I was in a trance
And my spirit was lifted from me
And if only someone had the chance
To witness what happened to me
Had I danced had I pranced had I sung with them
All had death in their eyes
Lifeless figures they were undead all of them
They had ascended from hell
As I danced with the dead
My free spirit was laughing and howling down at me
Below my undead body
Just danced the circle of dead
Until the time came to reunite us both
My spirit came back down to me
I didn't know if I was alive or dead
As the others all joined in with me
By luck then a skirmish started
And took the attention away from me
When they took their gaze from me
Was the moment that I fled
I ran like hell faster than the wind
But behind I did not glance
One thing that I did not dare
Was to look just straight ahead
When you know that your time has come around
You know you'll be prepared for it
Say your last goodbyes to everyone
Drink and say a prayer for it
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead
To this day I guess I'll never know
Just why they let me go
But I'll never go dancing no more
'Till I dance with the dead
why this?

So i have an intel core i3 (the latest one) and a gtx 750ti and i want to change to a gtx 980 do i need to change the i3 to what or will it be the same?
I think you should at least upgrade to an i5.youll have a massive bottleneck in performance if u dont
Maybe get a i5-4690k if you cant afford both and get a gtx 970... thats what I have and I still think my 970 is overkill... iCapsuleOrange81
Maybe a i5 quad core. You will not need to change your motherboard for an i5.
Depends what you want to do, game? then no need, although if your streaming or recording you'll want to upgrade as they are CPU heavy.
McShirtBubble i5's are actually better for gaming than i3's. just i7's aren't necessarily better than i5's.
