I remember when I used to watch Oprah (the 90s days) she said 20s you make AALLL the mistakes, 30s you see if you learn the lessons, 40s you know yourself more and is okay with who you are, 50s you trully start living. So far 40s I love it and getting closer to God makes it much more meaningful 💕💕. Love theses self-discovery. Trully amazing 💕💖
Currently in my mid 20’s, haven’t had any relationships nor casual ones. Struggled with that a lot. Not because it bothered me specifically but because I looked at those around me at my age and felt as though I wasn’t experiencing and missing out on what they say was “enjoying your youth”. I don’t want to put myself in situations for the sole purpose of relating to others. So, I’m in the season where I’m learning to trust that God is more than enough in my life and whatever will come when it comes. I shouldn’t be too concerned about how others are living and focus on living the best life that I can through God.

My mum has been praying over me my entire life. She is so filled with prayer and turning to God. This has resulted in me feeling so incredibly protected my whole life. Because of her example, I pray too.
I am 42 I will be 43 in July , I had my daughter at the age of 25 I definitely don't regret having her in my mid 20s. She is about to turn 17 next month she is my only child. I am a single parent my daughter's father was murdered when I was 3 months pregnant , so I never had the help & support from him unfortunately; I have a great support system with my family Thank God, because it hasn't been easy I have always worked full-time & finished college I did it, but I worked myself into exhaustion. I now suffer with Fibromyalgia and I am fighting for my health so I can go back to work I really don't know how women do it in their 40s having babies because I definitely do not have the energy to deal with little ones anymore, but I love babies they are adorable sweet & innocent. I promised myself I would never have anymore children unless I was married because single parenthood even with a great support system has been hard on me, but I am so happy for you & family I been following you since 2015 when you lived in NYC, I found your channel, and you inspired me. I think you & your husband are doing a great job with parenting keep up the great work I love your channel its one of my happy places to escape in my mind. lol 😊
What a life and testimony! Girl give me your name and I will PRAY!!! We need hedges of protection and healing! I don't know how I be doing it but the blessing is I am an energetic person naturally and have to find even more energy to keep up 😂 I can't wrap my head around another one of them . I’m so sorry, lost my husband at 35, had just given birth to our second son, baby was 3 weeks old an my husband got covid and died. Our eldest was 5. 2 years later and being a single parent is hardddddd. I cry every day. Praying for you about your health issues 🙏
@@deanadiaries3390 Thank you for sharing being a " single-parent" has been extremely hard to say the least the emotional, physical, & financial burden has been hard everything falls on me now I'm dealing with a teenager and all that comes with the " teenage age " years. My daughter also suffers because she never met her father & never will, but I put all my trust in God & he always makes away for us. My health issues has slowed me down a lot, but I keep on pushing through my daughter needs me. Sending you peace !
What a gem of life lessons in our 40s. With social media and the fast life, it’s been challenging to focus on self and self reflection. One of my biggest life lessons is that what people think of you doesn’t affect your life (if you don’t let it). I just don’t care as much about what people think about me. In my 20s and part of 30s, I cared too much about that. Not anymore. It’s so liberating. Thanks for sharing. Hope you post more content.

I'm 35 in July and it's wild to me that I even got to this point. To an extent, I feel like I never left my 20s. At this point in my life, my focus is on my career and growing financially. There's a lot I want to do and give to my son, so I really need to improve this part of my life. My goal is to be fully in my new career by 40.

Maya having the Holy Spirit for my Teacher is priceless. He has given me the gift of speaking in Tongues and when I pray in the heavenly language I find that so gratifying because the enemy doesnt understand what you're saying and when I ask my teacher to interpret I get clear answered prayers. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Txs. for sharing.

I am here for the learnings and the solo trips! I'm in my late 30s and just did my first solo trip because i wanted to nourish, rest and restore myself and work to my own timeline - not have to consider anyone else in my decisions whilst on holiday. Just do exactly what i wanted each moment of the day. BEST choice ever! This year is about courageous expansion for me, bliss and anchoring into faith and trust.

💯 I love your approach on silence. I have a similar one on patience with the byproduct of LISTENING. I don’t use “obedient” … that word is still triggering for me but I’d say that being patient and listening definitely helps in being more aware, present, and mindful of self and others, even in the words we use. I feel it more and more the older I get, and truly believe words and prayers are prophecies that we declare over ourselves and future generations. Maya you‘re always such a great inspiration to me! Here since 2018 and your videos from your vow to yourself to today supported my liberation so much.
I love the realization that some of the new ways we are seen is a by-product of a new attitude or new behaviors. It’s showing the fruit of the hard work you have done.
One thing tho I think we can all make necessary changes at whatever age we are. You just need to be open to seeing that the changes are necessary.

Totally relate with you about plans with sick children. We've been like sick off and on since October. Although I am not a religious person, I do follow spiritual practices such as saying blessings and affirmations. I understand the lowering of expectations part....my toddler started daycare April 2022 and he just stopped getting sick this month. All my PTO that I was gonna use for vacations went out the window. So I gave in and said bump it, maybe I'll get some time off next year.
I am proud of your independence even if you're married. Also, I agree about listening and not interrupting the other person. Whenever I want to give my opinion, I ask the other person if they want me to just listen and not give them my opinion because maybe that's all they want from me. No judgment.

Back story, my mom passed when she was 48 years old #LupusAwareness one thing that stuck with me, unlike a lot of my peers I appreciate and embrace the process of aging. I’ve learned that every year has grows and glows but while I simultaneously appreciate the now. As a 33 year old who has watched you for about 6 years I genuinely appreciate this video.
