i personally love dark colored Apple product. i've had light colored phones/iPads for the last 5 years, and i'm soon going to order the iPhone 14 Pro Max in deep purple. i'm so excited for a change lol.

@@sleepynet13 theres a chance the water and cleansing agents can leak into the actual display and damage the back and front of the Macbook. Use either a micro-fiber cloth (recommended) or a Apple certified device cleaning spray

MacBook air1 is better than air2 in terms of performance
@@sam-001 This is an extremely controversial view as many tests have shown the M2 barely out performing or slightly under performing. SSD wise it does under perform. However a maxed out M2 is way better performance than a maxed M1...which at that price makes no sense to buy an air in the first place..

Currently own a 2017 MBP in Space Grey.
Have been thinking of getting a MBA M2 since Apple first released it but still on the fence about going for a new colour in Starlight or getting Space Grey again 😩
I want to like the MBA butt- I wish it also had a touch bar like the MBP. That’s why I’m getting the MBP with the M1 Chip. But it’s not gonna have less bezels like the new MBA and the Camera Cut out bar. I think the M1 Chip has better performance? Some of the Videos confuse me on the M1 Chip Vs M2 Performance. I tried the M1 Chip MBP at Best Buy and the Performance was AMAZING.
Choice is yours. Starlight would be more aesthetic.
I have just made the switch from the 2017 MBP to M2 Air and it is 100% worth the switch. I went space grey again as I'm not sure how other colours will keep their value over time and whether wear will be more noticeable in 1+ years of owning it.
This Starlight MBA M2 has problem with hot processor in heavy tasks.. over 100C degress.. this is something T_T
I really like the midnight color, but it seems like a fingerprint magnet. I need to carry around microfiber cloth everywhere with it hahah

Hi! I also got the midnight. It's so beautiful! Quick question, have you experienced tiny (needle size, or sand size) dents on your screen? I wonder because it's been just less than a month and I have one dent.
I would get a case to avoid these! I got small dents on my old Mac before I got a case
I recently started using it without a protective cover, but there is no dent on my Mac ! You have to get in contact with apple support team

Yes, you can go for it. You will need to clean it sometimes. If your hand is dry then no worries.
just get a keyboard cover and laptop hard shell and you will be fine
I have the midnight currently but am requesting a return as it looks bad imo. You can barely even see the apple logo in certain lightings and reminds me more of a cheap chromebook rather than apples signature look. Maybe if the apple logo was white ide like it more who knows.

I want to get the midnight one myself, I'm getting it in a few weeks.. Lots of people said it attracts fingerprints, but are they easy to remove? Can you just wipe it off?
they are easy to remove and hardly noticeable at all, I would always recommend getting a case though these products are expensive and a hard shell case will avoid denting and scratches
once you start using midnight, it will not be a big issue i guess

M1 is perfectly fine. No big difference from M2. So no need of an upgrade now.
i have the midnight color and the cloth doesn’t even get as of the finger prints off. it’s a gorgeous color but it can be really annoying
I carry wipes/clear liquids with me all the time to get rid of the finger prints. lol

I wonder it's good for Web design and development. Since my budget is limited, I could only afford for the version of 8gb ram + 256GB.
I think that's enough for you. Currently I am using mbp 8/512gb for android development. I never face lagging issue.

in a windows laptop the window take so much space and also gamw are heavy but in MacBook it's only for work so there won't be any issue
you can always buy external ssd or memory card :D
It depends, i usr laptop fot studying and browsing. So 256GB will be enough. But if you are into editing, gaming and storing data, you need to go for a higher storage capacity
