- Welcome to Pokemon Xenoverse, an incredible fan game made by Team Weedle! Not only does this game have a completely new story set in the new region of Eldiw, but it also features brand new Pokemon including sound types! Watch as we embark on a journey to become the champion while only using sound type Pokemon! Along the way we'll try to find our missing father, save the world from X Pokemon, and explore the parallel dimension known as the Xenoverse!

if i remember correctly, i think the "idea" of sound type came from the constant addition of sound themed pokemon.
jigglypuff, loudred, ludecolo, ect. there are enough pokemon now that it just makes sense for gamefreak to make it official.

Usually fangame stories don't do it for me, they're usually really edgy and drawn out. But idk why but this hits different.

It’s because these people went to school for this. One of the devs is in my game art program at full sail university. Lots to it but a good game education is the biggest reason it’s good

I've never really been fond of the idea of a Sound type (even though my boy Exploud could certainly use a buff) but this is a pretty cool video.
There are literally sound moves in the game (Boomburst, Bug Buzz they are all sound based moves and they can go through sub and cant hit soundproof pokemon)

@@anyaforger844 There's also a list of moves that count towards the ability Bulletproof. Maybe they should have a Bullet type. I don't like the idea of Sound type Pokemon, I didn't like it a decade ago when people started insisting it should happen either.

Sound type has been a concept in the fandom since ruby and saphire. Whismur line being the main example
Tip, when you were trying to get the update for porygon 2, you didn't need to catch a bunch of porygon, the pokemon drop their item when they faint, so you pick it up at the end of the battle

"Scovile which is a much cooler take on a pepper pokemon than the new scovillain" is a pretty hot take.
Scovillain is too ugly and unlikable, Scovile is much nicer and more sleek

As a girl it's a Whisteract, a Fairy/Ghost MASSIVELY strong special attacker!
I like that queen Luphar has an empoleon costume because she is royal
Can we take a minute to talk about how good the sprites are in this game ? Usually fangames have sprites for their fakemons that don't look like they would be in an official pokemon game, but there, I could see most of them unmodified in a gen5 game
Definitely the new sharpedo design, that looks so sick but alot of these new designs and new fakemons look absolutely amazing
You absolute chad, Xenoverse is beyond top tier
And trishout is my favorite starter
I personally like Shulong. I prefer other fire and sound mons, but for water or dragon? I don't really mind anything else.
Currently on my run I had going on, my team was Electaburst, Whisteract, and Shulong[don't like my other team members so they're replaceable]

My favorite pokemon is trishout and I did subscribe for it
When I did my playthrough of this game I picked shulong and it helped carry my team
Shulong is awesome! It's awesome to have a starter that turns into a dragon type!
Yeah the vacumm fight is brutally annoying. You cannot toxic stall it, unless you are prepered with a way to negate it's ability.
It's stats and extra hp bars make it impossible for a team of 6 to take it down. I was forced to pp stall it with bulky recovering pokemon (water starter is just too good)
Have you tried doing more damage?
So far the rapidash fight was the worst so far cause I was being lazy about grinding and it still was bodying my tankier mons. Was easy the second I just cheesed it with thunder wave quick claw, curse, and icicle crash which didn't feel good.
The only way I managed to beat the vacuum was because I used Sharpedo X and made it hold a Metronome and spam Liquidation hoping to get defense drops.
I was so drunk that I thought this was a GROUND only run until 10 mins into the video
I once saw a sound type eeveelution called Syntheon and imediately felt a connection
But this one is fine too i guess
I clicked thinking this was an "only sound blinfolded challenge" x)

Man Xenoverse was hard, especially the postgame stuff. I basically cheesed the opponents with burn, poison, and rocky helmet + contact damage abilities… at some point I had to double team cheese because of some highly unfair battles against several pokemon with multiple health bars with no option to use items and it was still brutal.
Alternative title : can i put all of xenoverse to sleep
And screech the hell out of them

I started watching a playthrough of this a while ago, totally forgot about it, this game rules!
I like the desigbs all equally but the edge goes to trishout because it's name is funny
There are many fan games with bad story lines but good typing and Pokémon but this game is good in both ways to me

The ability Frisk. That way you KNOW what item they have

I still don't understand why people keep making sound supereffective against water. Shouldn't it be the opposite? Being underwater actually significantly increases the chances of not suffering internal damage from a shockwave.
Please let me know how you speed up the game or is only video's edit? Cuz I don't enjoy 100% pokemon xenoverse cuz I can't speed up
