We Have 6 rounds of Randomized Starter Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet but we can't see them! All we get to see is a poorly drawn sketch of the Pokemon and try to make an educated guess what they are and if we are right, we can give them any ability of a pokemon type that resembles them! After the 6 rounds are up, we battle each other!

28:00 frank doesnt know that miraidon also floats lol, hadron engine shouldve worked, the boost is unstated, like sheer force or guts
actually, it is stated, as the message anouncing that the ability activated electric terrain also says that this activated the pokémon's futuristic engine, implying the stat increase
it's just not a regular stat boost

Lol, Frank not knowing how Hadron Engine works is funny, it doesn't give a spA boost like calm mind does, your base spA just goes up, so you can stack a +6 in top of the hadron engine boost

I think doing this but with user submissions to make it a real bad drawing lol
That would require looking at the randomizer ahead of time...and going through hundreds if not thousands of submissions. Kind of a lot of work for not much payoff.
@@PointsofDatarandomise the starters before, the list of Pokemon are sent into the channel members chat. They can submit drawings and the editor beforehand picks the best ones to be used

Hadron Engine doesn't give a boost, it just boosts the spatk. Like how the ruin abilities reduce without dropping stats.
How does it work then?
@@Esmerthe10thjojo it gives you a special attack boost without raising the stat. It increased it by 33%. I literally said how it worked in the comment.

@@Esmerthe10thjojo it works exactly like the Ruin abilities, just instead of lowering a specific stat of the opponent, it raises the special attack of the pokemon with hadron engine. It’s pretty simple. Think of it like choice items, they boost your stats without giving you a visual buff in game.

Hey, just so Frank knows, Hadron Engine did boost Palkia’s Special Attack.
However, it’s a direct modifier, not a Stat Boost.
In other words, instead of being +X Sp. Attk, Palkia’s Base Sp. Attk was increased (I think by 25%).
I don’t know why they made it and the paradox abilities (protosynthesis and quark drive) do that instead of boost a stat by 1 stage like every other ability that works similarly like beast boost, grim neigh, intrepid sword etc.
It feels unnecessary unless it either boosts more or less than how much a stage would or there’s a lore reason. To me it’s just confusing and it messed up Frank’s whole thing.
Is the boost kept when switching a boosted mon out then back in? I really don’t understand why the ability works like that.
@@THGMR-ox7sd a +1 is 1.5 hadron engine is 1.25 and in in effect so long as there is the correct terrain on the field

I notice when you guys are explaining the Pokémon setups, there is no typing shown for the Pokémon. It would be an awesome addition for someone who doesn't know the typing's all that well. Love the vids Dylan keep up the great content.

Hadron Engine just give you a SpAtk boost, it doesn't raise your SpAtk. Is like toxic/flare boost. No message other than the Hadron Engine one.
