I wonder if the truck was actually functional in the sense you could drive it some distance? Yes it drove in move, but only very short distance. Im thinking it would have overheated with that goblin on the front.
They said during filming the truck was overheating due to the radiator being covered by Green Goblin head so there was no airflow to the cooling system radiator.
I bet back when this movie first came out that truck probably made a lot of toy stores look bad by scaring kids & parents & then they probably started thinking toy delivery trucks are evil machines. 😆 Lol
It's a White Western Star truck. The cab is a standard White motor Co. Cab Was used for White Autocar Western Star and Diamond Reo's. Look at the interior shots of the movie Over The Top for interior sight lines. All I all a good campy low budget flick. Just think about this. None of those cars trucks or equipment were computer controlled. Now EVERYTHING IS. would be a 😎 remake.
