Why can’t they upgrade and have a trucker’s DLC!? That Jake brake sounds so real! The regular Peterbuilts should have it as well. I mean the trucks aren’t even realistic in the game. The preexisting Rockstar created trucks. And there’s one empty truck stop on the whole map. I hope 6 has a realistic functional industry.

The truck is actually a 359 and you can tell how the breathers are, they wrap around into the hood.
These type of videos is why I got my CDL 🤘🏼🤣

the only thing I don't really like is when you shift gears, it sounds like you just let off the gas and don't really shift. Other than that it sounds great, especially the jake brake.

So when driving this type of truck what makes this loud noise in 4:56
That is just the engine going through different rpms as the transmission shifts. 5:35 is the jake (engine brake) which is used to slow down the truck.
