I believe that all the tracks you hear are from different recordings in different venues. Eg punch and judy is from the NRK Z-ting also in 1985. All the same its great to hear them.
They had sound issues on many a gig and it distorted the normally tight playing talents they had. It sadly ruined listening to them and just turning it off was your best option.
The Stranglers, punk ? Leur musique est un mélange de plusieurs styles, prog etc...Et ils maîtrisaient leurs instruments et pour beaucoup de titres, la construction est complexe.. L'inverse du punk 😉
Crackin'! Feline & A/Sculp from this era were both superb albums.
I was there - great gig ..
Fantastic gig & great sound quality. Thanks.
How goods this..Fantastic!!

Death and night and blud sounds whacky as hell
Did you know that JJ said " I don't think the brass worked very well".

Believe it or not they did wonders in song writing and performace after August 1990.
The key broad lost his life god best wishes to all his family ❤
so this was the tour where opening track ( downbeat 0.51) caused the fistycuffs later in the dressing room (JJ & Hugh) wonder if it was on this gig ..
According to Hugh's autobiography that happened after a gig in Rome.
😢 can we have the best of the Strangers
Is that Hugh singing "Death & Night & Blood" here?
Nah....it's defo JJ as per usual.
sounds more like sir Hugh@@JJstrangler
I dee English player in ap alley
that was the beginning of the end, with that utterly hideous brass section and cheesy rockabilly songs
Ahah the Stranglers and their riot kids, ridiculous. Punk in music and spirit were the Dickies.

They weren't punks. They shared their time, but they weren't punks
@@josep.rodriguez1419 They were far too competent musicians to keep playing Punk songs.
