Is it possible to put the body on the frame without gluing so you can take it off to see the cockpit and engine? I have Revell's Corvette C7.R and it lets you take the body off.
David, I don't think it would be practical because of the way the chassis fits so snugly underneath. Maybe if you modify the chassis length though. Even so, the body fit's so precisely that it probably wouldn't rest on the chassis. PS, please help us reach more modelers by subscribing if you haven't done so already. -Doug

Well, no one has a scene where they actually put the body on the frame. And my car body isn't going down flush with the frame and I can't find why not. I guess this one goes back in the box and I start to work on the second one. Screwed again.
L12, The slides that start at 22:00 demonstrate the proper fit with arrow indicators where the contact points are for the body/frame match. If yours isn't getting there It's probably due to interference from the roll cage or induction scoop. Making sure that those structures are fully seated during their assembly will help ensure that the body will fit later. Test fit prior to gluing the body on. Adjust the structures if required and clamp the body to the frame if needed while the glue dries. PS, please help us reach more modelers by subscribing if you haven't done so already. -Doug
@@RightOnReplicas Thanks for the answer, Doug, however, the front end fits perfectly, I've looked for rub marks and can find none that say they're riding that high, I can get one side to fit but not the other. So, it looks like this one goes back in the box before I destroy it out of frustration. Thanks for your help!
