It's hard to believe these guys are from Russia. Impressive. For a nation that has no tradition in rock n roll, I was very impressed. Congratulations guys, Mark Farner should be very proud all of you.
We played GFR with my student band in 1975-1980 in Nalchik on North Caucasus in USSR. Unfortunately no records were made. I think we played quite well. GFR were extremely popular in my region.
I am sorry, but we do have a great rock'n'roll tradition. And a very deep musical tradition in general. This is why we have bands like this. This can not just appear out of nothing and nowhere.
Key word is COVER. And these guys do a DAMN GOOD JOB of covering Grand Funk Railroad. Shit--- I wish i could get guys together who would enjoy copying Grand Funk Railroad... like these guys, they're EXCELLENT,
@@gigantrecord I love your music! I'm a big GFR fan and you guys are by far the best Cover band I've heard in decades. I know the owners of a very successful 300 seat Hall of Fame Music House here in Bakersfield, CA. We would love to get you booked whenever you come out to Southern California. Great job!
@@jimsomers6090 thanks! very nice ! we would love to play for fans in America! unfortunately, we do not have a manager who would be able to perform such a miracle. this is our dream, thanks again to everyone who appreciated our art! thanks everyone
Glad I found this video. Love Grand Funk. You do a great job. Saw Grand Funk twice back in the 70's. Once with Bloodrock as the intro band. Both groups are incredible and never received the credit they deserved. Well done!!
Same here. Saw GFR in Dayton Ohio a couple times in the early '70's. Bloodrock opened for them every time. I believe Terry Knight, producer of GFR also produced Bloodrock, so they travelled together during concert season. GFR would hit Dayton on the way out on tour from Flint, then hit them again on the way back home, so they'd play twice in Dayton and I never missed them. Great band. Bloodrock blew us away too. I remember them doing D.O.A. and the red lights and sirens throughout Hara Arena still haunt me to this day. First real "light show" I'd ever seen at a concert. Dam, I'm old. Great memories.
Much better than Brewer and his minions. No Mark Farner, No Grand Funk Railroad. Know Mark Farner, Know Grand Funk Railroad. Come to the USA and people will come see you!
Muy buen sonido en la grabación y tremendamente bien ejecutados los temas, son rusos?, que bien han captado el Rock estilo Grand Funk Railroad, buenazos!!!
Hi! Douglas! They played in stadiums and large stages, we play in a small hall, about 300 people! in bass equipment we use 2x10 and 1x15. but thanks anyway for the suggestion!

These guys may be the best Grand Funk cover band in the world. They sound more like the real, original, Grand Funk now than today's "Grand Funk" does.
I saw GFR in the 70's in Detroit, MI. The bass is way too under powered. Mel would blast out his bass riffs with 8 - 16" speakers.
Thank you so much for keeping this music alive!!!!

At 10:29 drummer drops a stick. Which we all have. Nice recovery.
The drummer is a bad ass
Чуваки!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's obvious they never saw GFR in concert in the 1970's. Mel's bass was extremely LOUD!!! play with 8 - 15" bass speakers!
Hi! Douglas! They played in stadiums and large stages, we play in a small hall, about 300 people! in bass equipment we use 2x10 and 1x15. but thanks anyway for the suggestion!
