Ha ha, love the end - even photographers can get the lighting wrong! Man that was very cool. Those amazing places at this time of year was an eye opener, but out of season is golden, like the light. I'm so glad I found your channel coincidentally over watch deliberations. I used to do a lot of wildlife photography but lost my mojo after a big moto enduro head injury: couldn't see the beauty in nature anymore and hated the digital interface. But genuinely, watching your vids is inspiring me to dust off the Nikon and start shooting again. Ironically, I've been lost in watches for a while and while I work in the outdoors, I need to get back out on expedition. With the camera (and the watches)! Thanks man, and keep up the great content. I only wish the UK was as clear and dry as Arizona/Utah! BTW, don't worry about a Rollie, they'll take an absolute beating, especially the Exp2. Lenses on the other hand...
Thanks James, loving hearing this, greatest complement is inspiring others. Yeah get out there with your Nikon (and watch), it personally slows me down and allows me to better enjoy my surrounds, see things I wouldn't have if I wasn't out with my camera.
You are right, the Explorer is tough as nails and I was 100% forced on saving my camera. Still can't believe the Rolex Explorer II worked just fine after that hit on the rock. Amazing watch. Cheers
Cheers Cheyne. The goat impact made me chuckle and reminded me of being nearly taken out by an eland in Mountain Zebra National Park, South Africa when a car went past! Duly inspired man. I need to get back to seeing like a photographer. That moment when you know 'the shot' - the best. Maybe an idea for future vids could be to combine photographic content (settings, composition thoughts) with the watch content and exploration. No one else does (or can do) that and I think there are a lot of watch enthusiasts who are keen photographers. Could give you an angle. But good luck with it all and enjoy picking the chrono to complete the 'Outdoorsman's Trilogy!'@@cheynewalls

I loved it when I went to the US and to Zion, the Canyon and the deserts over ten years ago. I would love to return and seeing how few people were around in your video, winter is a definite consideration as there is no such thing as bad weather….
