Not a criticism, just something that occured to me: we see loads of close-coupled pasenger stock nowadays but I've never seen it used on parcels/newspapers/mail stock. It would look great on a train like that.😁
Yep bit of an odd one. This rake is fairly new to the layout and once I've checked the back to backs on all wheels it will be all close coupled. I tend to slightly bend Bachmann pipe couplers inwards to get the corridor gangways to almost touch and haven't had any issues so far. Plan is to do the same on this rake to close the gap in.
