guuuuuuys...I *really really REALLY* wish to go here to study animation and character design. I also really want to be an animator for Disney. I look up to my two favorite animators Rebecca Sugar and Vivienne Medrano who both went here. I'm only 14 now, but I hope to one day get there!

The Metro cards are only in that dorm. As the bill paying parent, the perks that come with the dorm make it quite a bit more expensive than GW was. It was quite a shocker, actually. I don't think the Metro cards get you back to Long Island, though. The local station makes you buy passes into the city so.....
This is fascinating for me to see.I have not been a resident of NYC since 1990 and when I was a student at SVA it was a lot rougher and the dorms were not nearly as nice.I lived on 91ST and Broadway.The first day I got to my dorm floor which at the time was a shared building with TEACHERS COLLEGE of COLUMBIA and REGULAR non student tenants I saw one of those YELLOW PLASTIC POLICE STRIPS...that said DONT CROSS THIS AREA...police investigation....WOW!!! Another ERA Another TIME...PRE NIRVANA...CRAZY!!!

SVA does have nice dorms and I kinda wanna go because of this, but their merit scholarship offer isn't that much so I don't know if I can afford it
