Thanks for the video! This worked for me while in limp mode! No computer, idled on 3000Rpm with engine brake on until oil temp reached 220 or so and the warning went away. Cut off for 2 min then drove it up to 80mph. Thanks again! 2019 f250
Found your video yesterday. Started the process this afternoon and easily hit the egt easily enough. Then a near disaster hit.. my laptop accidentally closed. I was using the obdlink ex cable and forscan. After that a few choice words that i won't repeat here!! Fortunately i had watched your video like 6 times so i was able to complete the process and, hot damn, the idle warning went away. Drove about 10 miles everything was great!! Can't thank you and this video enough!!
This fix worked for me without a computer. Fast idled for about 25 minutes and got oil temp up to around 212 and followed the procedure. Had to do fast acceleration twice before it reset. Saved me some $. Thanks.

The day after we bought our 2016 F250 6.7 black Beaty , we were driving cross country to another wind job and limp mode hit pulling a fifth wheel! Called our very knowledgeable finance guy/ cowboy salesman/ friend/family from Hereford Texas at Whiteface Ford Mr Paul E. Jackson ! In his very southern draw “ Did you stop and put diesel in it ? “ “Well yes! We’re in Colorado now!! “ He said “Well you Kansas sunflower ,…did you leave the truck running while you were putting the diesel in?” “ As a matter of fact, we did ! It was too hot for the dog ! Had to leave the air on!” He said “ Well not no mo !” We had to pull over shut it down remove the battery positive and negative for about several minutes , connected them back up, started it up, and it reset itself!
I agree, typically the Government is the problem. However, Ford should have made the diagnostics and repairs open to all mechanics. As of now, Ford profits from the situation.@@jarrodkirkpatrick1300
best way to move is disconnecting the speed sensor that goes on the tranny and it will let u move but there is a risk that I could damage the tranny cause it won't shift good when u disconnect it and then start driving

I did the procedure, heated the EGT 14 to 450 degrees, turned off the car for two minutes, started it again, made sure the injector readings did not rise, then moved 5 mph, made 5 accelerations from 0 to 5 mph, put it in park and the car idled for 30 minutes, after that the error message still hangs, did I do everything right? or did I miss something somewhere?
@@JVFIXLLC repeat the procedure from what point? Should I heat everything up again or just start moving and try to speed up? What should acceleration look like from a complete stop or after starting to move, always keep your foot on the gas pedal and release the gas pedal and press it again?

the scanner won't reset it if you don't have any codes I used it to monitor the temperature and do it a bit faster. after the idle I went to drive it Normally but first I did some heavy accelerations for 10 or 15 times from 0pmh to 5mph.
So i ran this procedure and after inlet it sit for two min and then started it again the injector jumped to 99% but the pump stayed at 0 and never came up and started dosing. Would you say the pump is bad?
if you are not getting codes about the pump or Low pressure codes you should be good. did you get the truck already out of the speed limiting mode or is still stuck

i warmed up the truck 1 time cause it was a hot weather but if you live in a cold weather it will take longer

leave your truck revved to 3000rpms for 20min and it should go back to normal, if not you will need a scanner to dig deeper into the issue

I just added DEF, filled the tank, and filled it up with diesel and did a system check on the console. Seemed to reset itself. Maybe I was just lucky.
yea these systems are very delicate with def level and soot levels too, kinda annoying sometimes
My truck is in engine idle only. I wont be able to do hard road acceleration. Any suggestions?

I found 2 codes P207F and P0170, also the module nox12 wasn't updated. I ordered both noc sensor 11 and 12 and I will try again on Monday.

Thanks! Was stranded just idled at 2500 and got trans temp up to 220 for 25 minutes! Light went off and I’m back on the highway! F350 2019
