I miss my 2.0T petrol, she just blew the motor about a month ago. High pressure fuel pump failed, and shot 2 gallons of fuel into the block, threw off timing and twisted the crankshaft. 😢
At about how many miles did she blow at?
If u listen in the background while accelerating there seems to be an odd rattly sound in the back might be a failed turbo

at least in my country (indonesia) this model carries issues in which this aging car "consumes" engine oil so owner needs to top-up 0.5-1 litre oil engine per 1000 km (some reported for less km). The issues seem to going away for B8.5 facelift model.

Is that a PD or a common rail? Did they use PD170’s in the B8 or were they CR’s? I know they used PD140’s
As far as I know, the B8 were just CR. The B7 140 and 170ps are PD
@@youonlyneedacar yea. One of my teschers had a B8 diesel and it sounded like a PD, but if they are CR’s then maybe it had something going on. It was a 140hp 2.0tdi from the catalog but it just said ”diesel direct injection”

These people must need their brain examined, posting high speed runs on public roads….. hundreds of people are prosecuted every year for this as the courts take your speedo reading in your posted video and use that as proof that you have committed an offence!

Yes..it is the Autobahn, and all of the sections I drive faster than 70mph are with no speed limit. Also I do not try to set a bad example in any way, so I also drive safe, choose the time of the day where there is the least traffic.
