Thanks for making this tutorial, it really saved me a lot of time. As for the three bolts holding the cover only one was ever going to go back in to hold it..
What a brilliant afterthought of design 10/10 to the genius who thought that one up!!! ..Great explanatory video, thanks for doing it.....my filter will never ever be changed, Bring back Sun Roof's.....
Good vid well done. When i did this first time round i did the same as you but you don't actually need to remove the glovebox. Just drop the fuse box and undo the bracket holding it behind. Saves a bit of time!
It's a little tighter on space so newbies might find the glovebox removal better but i found it very doable without removing it now I've had a bit of experience doing them. All the best!
It's worth saying on the 13mm bracket there are wires either side clipped in with some weird plastic clip. Seems completely pointless and had me foxed for a while until I carefully yanked them free. For a total newbie wondering why the bracket doesn't just 'fall' out, this will be why. I didn't reattach them, given that they cost me 20 minutes and several scuffed knuckles trying to figure out!
WOW, Can't tell if yur on the right side or left side? What side of the car are you on? What year is the Focus? What Model is the Car? NOTHING I see fits, terrible Video, Gotta be smarter that this???

Glad it helped you out. Cheers!
There's absolutely nothing wrong with over maintaining a vehicle like this! Thanks for the video.

Thanks man. Very straight to the point and clear tutorial. Thank you.
Seems that I watched these cabin filter videos in reverse order... what were they thinking with those filter locations!??
Much easier in left hand drive... but even then you have to remove the accelerator pedal. Stick to VW/Audi!
Wow, you do this every year? You are THE man!
+farmboy30117 haha I was. Now I have the video to remind me it's a dumb idea. Cheers!
Where is it in a ford focus se 2011?

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go next time. Cheers!

Thanks
Great video for doing such an awkward job, I've a 2006 ST3 wish you could do mine 😂 thanks for sharing your experience. John
Great video thanks
Not the easiest filter to get to but again, good job. I liked the music!
Thanks! It was a funky tune, that's for sure. I've used a few of these Purple Planet royalty free tunes on other vids.
thank you
man should have stuck to how it was in the 2000-2005 one few plastic clips under the hood and it's done
+Damien that would be nice but they had to mess with it! Cheers
Cool vid awesome viding and for a second I thought I was getting into some AC/DC . Cheers
I haven't pulled out the GoPro in a while. It's a great camera for getting in these tight spaces, will use it more! Cheers!
Thanks for the video really helpful.
That's sounds a right pain in the ass to do thanks for showing us
thanks for the video, it's really helpful!
+Alex Romanov awesome, thanks for watching
And i thought it was shitty on the left hand drive version! Phew i only have to take the acceleration pedal off😂
haha yes, the LHD version looks much easier than this. Cheers
were never designed to be rigt hand drive, oh ahd you have footwell lights there, 501 bulb each side
Have bulb holders but they're not connected to anything
@@Badgertronix though you just stuck bulbs in. That's how my 08 zetec is
That's how the internet says it works, but no voltage to my bulb holders and I didn't get round to wiring them in before I sold the car
I don't think Ford intended that filter to be serviced... What a pain!
i second that what a pain in the ass
yeah it sucks. Filters shouldn't be that hard
Why don't you go from driver side? Here is link to related video. th-cam.com/video/937GCUJOel4/w-d-xo.html
on both the left hand drive and right hand drive vehicles, the filter only comes out the left side. Much easier on th eleft hand drive cars
Very helpful. Thumbs up :-)
Glad it was helpful!

Have you got a spoon so I can spoon feed you? Mummy still changing your nappy?
what a pain in the ass.
+Jeff Lok absolutely. Cheers!
