The red sweater reminds me so much of those photos from the 50's of women at ski resorts in Idaho with their Nordic sweaters and black ski pants (so chic!) My mom had a sweater much like that one that I wore in college as I was very into vintage clothing. Ooo that sequin maxi was so pretty and I like how you paired it with the LOVE sweater. You could be more casual with that look and wear white sneakers. (Just sayin') Ha! That puffed sleeve top! I love the plaid, but oh boy, the deep V neckline...thanks for taking one for the team on that one! Fun haul!
HI Sal!! Yes! That sweater definitely has the "retro" feel to it! Maybe that's why I really liked it! I did love the skirt with the "Love" sweater, but in all reality, I just know I would feel like an imposter going out casually wearing that. Thing is, I could see another woman wearing that outfit and think she looked so cute!! In my fantasy life, I would get great use out of that pretty skirt! Lol! I am excited to report back that the sunscreen does not sting my eyes!!! You have no idea how really huge that is for me! So thank you, thank you, thank you for the recommendation! I don't know if it's water resistant...when I used it this past summer in my parents pool I just kept reapplying it (of course wearing a hat too). Hooray! Oh and I'm the same about the glitter skirt. Love the idea, have no place to wear it (even casually). It's fun to imagine though!
