Adding 4 more spaces for the main deck will add so many dimensions to the deck-building, now decks with tight space like Bav, Welstra, Almajestar, etc will now have much MUCH more spaces to add their favorite tech or running more cards that we cannot afford to run at 4 previously.
That also mean less chance to hit triggers so tier 2 or 3 decks' chances against top tier ones are even more slim than before, also not all decks can filter their deck like Youthberk, Luard etc, so that would also make a difference
What do you guys think? Now I have to rethink my current deck builds...
Doesnt the 50 deck also kinda hinder weaker decks? Some decks lack power or pressure and rely on triggers to hit tier 1 decks (my first thought was gramgrace idk y). While tier 1 decks who can cycle through their decks and have reliable game plans and not as piece reliant I.e stride decks or prenerf gandeeva idk? will become better?
Gandeeva does need another hit imo. But i am glad my Eva deck can run more cards. It felt like way too tight with the space

If the energy system can be like the 5Ds Speed World 2, where we can use the energies to do simple effects that aren't restricted to being once per turn, such as +5000 power, cc1, sc2, and draw 1 card, and there can also be cards that use the energy for cost. Generating energy can come from taking damage, triggers, riding, etc. I think these can more freedom for decks to go crazy. There can also be a deck that may need you to keep a certain energy threshold or only use energy exclusively for effects. There can also be decks that give the opponent energy to drain it might be a fun control deck. This system might make DivineZ so much more crazier.
I hope the energy system won't just be a glorified timer for the Divine Skill to be used, where if you use the 5-energy one, you can activate it faster but weaker or wait for the 10-energy one for a slower but crazier effect.
Actually, the energy system also reminds me of Buddyfight Gauge mechanics. With the Divine Skills being similar to Overturn/Overkill/Overthrow.
I'm just still wondering if I need to buy a whole carton just to build a deck for either of the anime decks. No start deck or trial deck for them. Really curious how its gonna be for them
I'm gonna take a prediction and say out of the divine skills we end u0 getting one will be a defensive skill that gives every unit of yours a perfect guard for the entire turn.and also they cant be choosen by effects for the turn
I'm gonna have a naive obviously wrong copium theory that Megumi was shown with Magnolia G4 because a new Magnolia G3 form is coming alongside a new Sylvan Beast ride deck that doesn't suck.
That or Megumi shows up 2 episodes loses offscreen once and goes back to crying that Danji no pick up phone :/

The Ride Deck and Main Deck becoming separate bodies is easily the best news I've heard ALL YEAR! I won't be needing Christmas gifts thats for sure.

With this change, disappears the argument to ban OT. That argument was "omg but sealed product wont be playable out of the box!". Now they could ban this horrible mechanic and get rid of it. But nah, lets keep degen factor in format. Lets keep a way so a far worse player gets an easy win because they checked defensive ot.
Honestly, before we had ride deck, I lost more games to grade stuck than games I lost to OT playing standard. One feels way worse than the other.

I dont get the New Starter Decks i believed that They where Like not that crazy cause the units looked so boring and not Like anime Boss units.
