15:46 the Baromagnes god running 8 crits, 7 fronts, no heals and no PGs. Bro was LOCKED IN. Also the Vairina guy has been on fire these past few months, single-handedly carrying the deck with some real anime protagonist energy.
The Neos dying in top cut in Duluth was very suprising. For me in top 32 I was paired up against Will and didn’t find the Elementaria so couldn’t get past Linka. Glad he was able to qualify for worlds!
The 3 Razionel in the Alden deck is actually the right call. The card is a huge part of the deck but its never supposed to be on board during opponents turn so once you get the 1 copy you have all you need. Typically its call Razionel in main to EB4 draw 1. Then on swing Alden calls Ermac, New G2, Teith, or Gelment over it for the extra 10k and possible restand. Then she goes back to hand and you rinse and repeat the next turn. Ive been playing the deck and 4 has actually been kinda clunky and I usually end up either discarding and extra drawn early to ride or as PG fodder late game.
Eh, I get it. The odd thing about it was that I didn't even think I would have even made it that far playing Michu of all decks. As soon as I realized I was 5-0 I started being a try hard and I think that's what caused me to get burnout at the end. (To be fair, this was my first top in singles since I started playing in 2012, my team took second in Newark back in 2022) And honestly, what really screwed me over was not misplays or anything, just trigger luck kicked me in the face. (Had three different opportunities to advance, my deck said no. LOL) So...yeah I've moved on. As for competing in future events, I'm not sure. It's getting more expensive to keep up with the physical card game so...as crazy as it sounds. I'll just be playing my Glass and Bastion deck from now on and play more seriously on the Switch. Here's hoping Bushi makes a tournament mode out of that game lol.

I think luard is making a resurgence because doji is not gone but less popular which felt like it gatekeeps the luard
2 charment is enough you don't wanna keep drawing bricks from the marker and I'm just a sucker for recursion

I think Duluth gave me burnout. Made top 32 but got completely destroyed by Shojo and I bombed Premium.
Keep your chin up, it happens! Take a break and refocus for the next big tournament!
