I actually did this a few weeks ago! I put the ordinary glycolic acid on my scalp and left it there for a few hours before shampooing. It cleared my scalp and my dandruff is gone 👌🏾

I tried this and OMG my dead skin on my scalp is coming off and my hair is FLAWLESS! So SOFT, hydrated and best part is LESS hair loss!! Makes it so much easier to detangle after washing hair with the lubricant feel to it. My scalp has never felt so clean. I have very hard water here in FLORIDA so this is very helpful. These were my steps:
Glycolic acid for 30 minutes (entire scalp)
Clarifying shampoo followed by moisturizing shampoo,
Condition ends (wash off with cold water)
    And wallah!!!!! TRUST THIS!

This is cool. On wet hair it is hard to overscrub a sugar scrub. Sugar melts in warm water. Pretty much impossible to overdo.
Shea moisture green coconut and charcoal sugar scrub is my favourite. Every 8 weeks or so.

Happy New Year everyone! I have been a pharmacist for 15 years and I have traction alopecia. My dermatologist wrote me a prescription for a compound that contained the following: Minoxidil, Salicylic acid and clobetasol. The salicylic acid helped to exfoliate the skin and unclog the follicles, the clobetasol was for inflammation and the minoxidil was to stimulate the hair to grow. I had great results but there was a patch of very stubborn skin that the salicylic acid couldn't exfoliate so she wrote me a compound for a even more aggressive one but I had to put it on with a cotton swab because it was powerful and would wipe out the new hair that were growing. I stopped using the compound due to the minoxidil causing extreme facial hair growth, which lead to acne from trying to shave my face or wax the hair off. My hatred for minoxidil made me look into other alternative to get my hairline closer to my forehead and not my ears. I created a compound with the Ordinary's salicylic acid, clotrimazole and hydrocortisone to unclog my hairline and then I apply the amla growth oil I made and do scalp massages. It's working!! I say all this to say that chemical exfoliates do work. I wouldn't use it everyday put making sure the follicles are open is soo important. If chemical exfoliants aren't your thing.. try witch hazel. it's gentle and will help clear and soothe the scalp.

Monistat 7 and Clotrimazole, the creams used by women for fungus in their private parts aids in hair growth and fungus. Google any of the women’s creams for our 🐱 and hair growth. Some Caucasian women said they put it in a spray bottle after showering. Women of color, I suggest diluting the cream with an oil. Straight use gave me a headache like I had a nitro patch on me. It may sound crazy, but a lot of the ingredients in our coochie cream is good for our hair too! Clotrimazole is also a cream for women’s 🐱‼️🌹🥰

I heard that salicylic acid was an anti-inflammatory too. It's so great that your product is working. I am working on regrowing my hairline so I've been doing a combination of things. I made a hair spray with a combination of aloe vera, onion juice, oils, etc, and massage it in a few times a week. I'm going to exfoliate my scalp to get it deeply clean and I plan on eventually using a drama roller, but instead id rolling it, I heard that stamping is better.

I remember Shea moisture used to have a line (african black soap I think) that had willow bark extract. After I used the deep conditioner my scalp would flake like I had dandruff. I’ve read that willow bark is a natural form of salicylic acid, another beta hydroxy acid.

this is helpful my scalp has alot of oil like scabs. mostly started when i had too much anti biotics so it messes up how my skin handles oils. i do have some that came off so slight burn but over all nice. im not too bothered by the burn because its needed and for start im just leaving it on before showering then light after with oils i have used a apple cider vinegar wash. i have straight wavy hair but oil and light like afro hair so my hair and scalp tends to be the same. just using and lightly rubbing alot came off easy and my scalp doesn't feel as tight it will take my scalp 3 days till i know if its going well but this seems to be what i needed so thank you. And im only using this as a man with long hair because i do give off so much oils that it is needed. i get the hard oil to bumps not all the time but enough were i needed something strong enough i already use this on my skin about 2 times a week now 1 or every other week so im hopping my scalp can heal the same. and this does work well tonning out my scars on my face so hope it can help. i am self diagnosed with early lupus i follow a diet no meds, healed my self when Drs could not. i really hope it works i used to have the thickest hair and would love to get it back. thank you for this video and being precise with the 2 sides of scalps this is needed for. Note i am Mexican and indigenous American with my hair poofy yet life black peoples hair and scalp though not nearly as curly. it does curl when not dry and can be shaped how i choose from curly to straight i might have black Dna but that history is lost or to vague to know. though i am asked if i am from black to Pacific islander. over all i am hoping this works. so Yes the best results for advice i get is from blacks and Asians that face the same or similar issues. This is a massive struggle of mine so thank you. Hard to get this kind of advice having moved from Compton CA

Yes!!! Months ago I decided to use a TCA peel on my edges. I suffered a little discoloration because I left it on too long with the thought that the skin on the scalp is thicker. I recommended it to a friend with the explanation that scalp is skin and has dead skin build-up similar to the face. Since the peel, I’ve noticed new hair growth in an area that has been barren for a while. Good video! Great mind obviously think alike.

I started using a chemical exfoliant pre-shampoo a couple of months ago. I use the Papaya Castor Scalp Serum from Eden Bodyworks which exfoliates with the papaya extract (and maybe other exfoliants? Not sure). The whole Papaya Castor line is intended for scalp care. I haven't used anything else from the line, but worth taking a look.
I do have a concern using chemical exfoliant--should I start using sun protection on my hair and scalp?

I used Clean & Clear which has salicylic acid in and it worked far better than any scalp solution which is suppose to exfoliate the scalp. I followed that after 10 minutes with roots sensitive shampoo and the Ordinary conditioner. n added benefit is the hair looks brighter. I did water down the Clean & Clear with water and put it into a bottle 9the kind used for flushing the ear out, This worked out so well because it las a long tube with a nozzle and it makes it easy to target the scalp. I have used shampoos with salicylic acid acid in but they dry out my hair..

@@pamelaliegh please do not misunderstand me, and I really mean that genuinely. Me saying regular, thorough washes with the appropriate shampoo is not to suggest that someone is dirty if they haven't been doing that. I was not trying to be rude.
It's just to say you don't have to do a whole bunch of complicated stuff including use chemical exfoilants (that could potentially burn your scalp just like your face...and you might not be able to see the burn) when shampoo IS enough. Additionally, the concept of the video is ALSO suggesting people have build-up that needs to be removed... so is the beautiful woman making the video also calling people dirty?

Are you using an oil with your clove water? I know this is an old comment, but it could be possible to help someone else too. I heard that clove water by itself could be drying, therefore possibly leading to breakage and not retaining lentgh leading to the appearance of your hair not growing. The hair is always growing. The only way it won't grow is if one has dead or scarred follicles.

      HAIR LOSS
Hair loss in males and females are usually from High Testosterone that convert to DHT in the natural oils on scalp and skin, hence hair loss on scalp and excess hair on skin.
      Some people get acne also.
Saw Palmetto Capsules stops and reverses hair thinning and acne on many people, both male and female.
Also try following a Low Carb Moderate Fats to reduce Testosterone levels.
20 to 30 carbs total per day, for at least 30 days, usually gives excellent results.
Ketogenic diet also helps with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Metabolic Syndrome issues also.
