Finally, someone recognizing that yes, she is Klaus's daughter however she is also HAYLEY'S daughter. And Hayley, while she was occasionally merciful, could be as ruthless as a Mikaelson if she wanted to be. Hope is equal parts her parents.

Hayley was just as much of a beast as Nik and Elijah. She was in denial about it for a long time. She was fearless, compassionate, merciful at some points, but also ruthless especially when it came to someone she loved. Hope is definitely a great mixture of Klaus and Hayley
People are forgetting that Hope is equally her mother as much as her father. She also her mothers daughter. And Hayley was awesome and strong.

Exactly. They keep forgetting about that for the show actually. Anymore now they just keep referring back to Klaus as if he was the only one whose the parent of Hope. Um hello??? Hayley had Hope and became a hybrid from Hopes blood and therefore struggled with learning how to control her new abilities as a hybrid. So they should be referencing Hayley in the show as well.

It is so funny that Alaric and everyone else is always like "oh no she will be just like her father" while Hayley literally massacered a lot of people too. xd
She was as cruel as the Mikaelsons when it came down to her family and especially Hope and honestly it was so good. I'm sick of everyone trying to portray the Mikaelsons cruel and heartless monsters and that we need a pure angelic hero when in fact things aren't just black and white. As Hope told in your story someone might be the villain but in others they might be the hero.

I LOVE that this is a tribute to Hayley as well. Legacies has just recently begun to do Hayley a little bit of justice after effectively ignoring her for several seasons despite it being Hayley and Alaric being the two people who shaped Hope into who she is, not Klaus.
I think people forget that there's a reason why Klaus called Hayley a queen and respected her, why she fit in so well with the Mikaelsons...she might have been more compassionate and merciful than the Originals, but she had a side to her that was absolutely ruthless and fierce - she was a total badass. Hope is much more Hayley's daughter than Klaus'.

Yes thanks for acknowledging Hayley. Bc Hayley had a dark side as well occasionally and her dark side with her anger was similar to a mikaelson and it fit best in the originals the mikaelsons kept saying Hayley is family and Rebekah and freya said she was like a sister. And freya said it best that hope is both equal parts of her parents in personality
Remember villains are not born they are made for some gone through every thing she lived she is so strong and i respect that in her

Hope as a bad ass is absolute masterpiece, put Heyley's violence and Klaus's temperament and voilà... perfect one! Not the mention even she is a Royalty in every way. The Original first born vampire comes from first turned warewolf bloodline of Labonairs and firstborn Mikaelson witch from Ester's bloodline that cast the most powerful dark magic spells..and now known as the Tribrid - the Gods killer!
