My daughter's made ne watch h20. The whole series. Several times. And the spin offs. And new generation. And the cartoon. They are 17 and 12 now. We still watch it on Netflix. Especially in the summer during break.

Hayley has got to be one of the best tv moms out there. She really did love her daughter and she was there for hope despite whatever she did. She loved her daughter so much it hurts that the last season did her unjust. I will never watch a series again that shows how much a mother loves her daughter like Hayley.

Hayley gave Hope away to Rebekah as soon as she was born, then when she got her back left her with Elijah or Freya most of the time. The only time she actually took care of her daughter was when she was forced to because everyone else was in some prison world and even then, she was more focused on getting them out. Yeah, you're right, Hayley is an amazing mom. I would love to have a mom like that. (Seriously though, Freya always did more for Hope than Hayley. Even Caroline is a better mother even though she"s not even the biological mom of her twins and had no reason to take care of them, yet she did.

@@Chaotic.Clumsy Hayley had to give Hope to Rebekah for Hope's safety, and Hayley or Klaus couldn't go with her or people would believe the baby was still alive. As soon as she got to see hope again, she would never leave her side until she was forced to. Also, when she had to give Hope to Rebekah, she would cry everyday and even snapped at Elijah. She was a very good mother.

Love this tribute. Julie Plec truly did an injustice to Hayley's character having Hope continue her life without both of her parents whom they fought relentlessly for her to grow and live a better life.

i knew from the beginning once we saw elijah's red door centric episode. his red door persona would make a powerful and very upsetting impact come final season. and i was right. s4 showed it. hayley was afraid of elijah after visiting his mind prison. yet hope was the one to wake him up.
now, due to legacies. hope is now currently aka the forgotten tribrid in season 2. how does this work, when landon's fathers curse didnt effect her, but everyone else. i hope this gives a chance for rebel, freelincent and kolvina to return bc i know for a fact. klaylijah are really pissed off right now, with alaric.

Honestly, this was the best way they could have done justice to Hayley’s character. Phoebe Tonkin decided to leave the show, so that’s why Hayley was in the first episode for a few scenes and didn’t reappear until the fourth episode of the season or so.

Hayley has to be one of the best moms in any tv series. Beautiful, beautiful video! It showed how special is the relationship between a mom and her daughter. And especially theirs. Because their lives were so difficult, hard. Their story is tragic and sad. And you showed it perfectly. I still do think that Hope is responsible for her mother's dead and now she has to live with it. But amazing job.

Klaus was type of charachter who was really selfish, and he never imagined he would die for someone just because he loves that person so much, but Hope made that come true. She woke up human side in him. He sacrificied himself for the sake of his daughter, like it should be, parents will always do everything for their child, just like Klaus and Hayley did. He already had lived 1000 years, but there was whole new life in front of his daughter, and he let her to live that life.
I wish Hayley and Klaus gave Hope their memorizes of her from when she was a baby. That woulda been perfect

Warning! Anyone who reads this comment will hate me for the first half, but hear me out!
When Hayley made her first debut on TVD, I hated her. I thought she was the most annoying character in the whole show, that served as a pathetic plot device. When we (as the audience) found out she was pregnant, I thought it was lazy writing. Then she got more screen time on The Originals, and I thought, oh great. But I started to see her as a different character as time went on and I got invested in the spin-off. She was fierce, and when Hope was born I started to love Hayley. The things that I deemed “annoying” were quickly replaced by admiration when we got to see her as a total badass mama who loved her child more than anything. Honestly, that is character growth. My opinion on Hayley has changed drastically, and Phoebe Tonkin did an amazing job portraying the character. Love the video, and the edits as well!

This amazing tribute to Motherhood is impeccable. I wish myself that my mom had such moments captured into such a footage. No matter what we do, we are drawn to our parents. Cherish every moment you get to live with them. I wished I get an eternity to be with them. Family, Always & Forever!

I've never cried as hard as I did when Hayley died and every funeral and memory that popped up, I would start crying again. I haven't cried that hard since I was 5. The final scene when Hayley was looking at Hope with the painting really did it for me.
I cried so bad in season 5 literally every single episode I was tearing up, I hate that Haley died. I loved their daughter and mom relationship. I hated that hope lost both of them.

Im so happy they put hayley as such a strong mother. In tv we so many horrible moms n broken family's. But this is y the Originals is my fav show. They focus on the love a family should have. Hayley was the most incredible mother. Before she knew about Hope she was a free spirit werewolf who drank, had sex and travelled. After she gave birth to Hope she spent as much time as she could with her. Even after she got married she spent the night looking at Hope sleeping... she killed herself to protect her daughter and she forgave Hope for putting her in a sleeping spell and hiding her which led to being abducted and tortured.
In the ending of The Originals, I loved the part where Hope was drawing a picture of her, Klaus, Hayley and others together and Hayley was standing behind her smiling and proud to see how Hope had become a terrific artist like her father, Klaus! That part literally gave me chills! ❤️And Hope could feel a presence, but she couldn't see her, because she was dead.

I’m getting so emotional. I loved Hayley so much, she was definitely my favorite character. I hated it when she died, plus Klaus? My favorite characters dying in the same exact season. Hayley raised Hope great, unlike she was raised. She wanted Hope to be raised better than she was, and she did. Hope grew up knowing her parents loved her. Hayley’s didn’t have that chance. Hayley parents were slaughtered.

I was devastated by the death of Hayley but I think that the way that Julie showed it is pretty good. By giving them closure in the afterlife and by showing her watching over Hope.
Hayley developed so much as a character and as a mom over the years and through the series. Whilst she was a bit unsure in the beginning and also spirited, she was a calm but loving and experienced and wise mum in the end who died for her daughter (actually two times but I think the fans always forget the first time).

I feel bad for Hope. No matter what everyone says,even if Hayley forgives her, even if everyone says otherwise, Hope will never forgive herself, she will have to have that burden throughout her life. All she just wanted was to have her father beside her, along with her mom and she didn't mean for it to happen but it did.
I think the scene when hope find her mother in Roman's home and stay calm and do nothing was so stupid, if she just free her mother by her magic and make roman pass out and run, Hayley would be alive by now

in the beginning i never liked her on TVD bc of how she got tyler's mother killed and told klaus what tyler had done to his hybrid army in s4-5? nevertheless tyler showing on TOs was weird bc in the end, tyler didnt get what he wanted and klaus let him live and go back to caroline and even when he did, he still broke up with her, for good and moved on with liv. if hayley didnt join TOs cast, i wouldv never had grown to love her as hope's mother. since her death, i was pissed and still am, and still i shipped klaylope as a family, klaylijah died for hope in the end... hope deserves to see the world, deserves to have epic love story (most likely with landon, unless roman comes back and begs her for his forgiveness, properly) bc in the end, hope is leading the TOs cast, as alaric / matt+dad / jeremy / dr. emma is pretty cool now, she won me over L:1x3 / dorian with new characters like landon, rafael, the saltzman twins, (altho not surprised with who killed dana) lol m.g/kaleb/penelope, etc. surprisingly it was said candice and kat wouldnt show up first season but theres another TVD:TOs/Legacies crossover coming, a dream sequence for hope most likely, rumors say klaylijah will be back, so klayley/haylijah might and visits from freelincent/baby, rebel w/kolvina should too, it has been 2yrs since klaylijah died man OMG we need bloody closure.

Amazing video! I love everyting about it! Hope and Hayley's relationship is so beautiful! I know that many people will disagree with me, but I believe that Hope is one of the reasons her mom is dead. I'm not saying she is the only one to blame, but she was a part of it. And this will hunt her for the rest of her life. But their relationship was so special, and it was special for us because it's not very often that we can see a relationship between a parent and a child for such a long period of time - since Hayley was pregnant, to Hope becoming a teenager.

It really hurts because they sacrificed themselves so she could go on and live the way they never could. All the pain and loss they had to go through to save their little girl only for them to never get the life they wanted with her, theres a saying that’s something along the lines of
“The characters of the storybook are always bound to leave, but that’s not the end of the story, that’s the end of their part in the story” klaus and Hayley live on in her, but Julie really ruined what could’ve been such a great ending, she had so much to work with and chose to go with the horrible route.
