Don't get all the hate on this little package of fun on wheels. Must be a blast man. Myself drive a 300hp Bmw but my girl drives the newer stock Yaris tti 1.8 with 130hp and to be honest is much more fun to drive then my heavy bmw. So this stripped down version with 150hp and only 900 kilo?! Fuck that must be totally awesome! People who complain obviously mix up fun with hp. it's not all about the hp people...it's all about the experience of handling, weight, grip etcet ...and btw...that sound is killing. ..mad fun!

So true.. I recently chopped in my 180bhp Fiesta st for the BMW m135i and I have to say it was a lot more fun pushing that thing to it's absoloute limit.

My dad had a fwd mazda 323 with 350hp and it weighed about 970kg (without passengers) and the front wheels would spin in 3rd gear
the owner must be one happy silly little racer. the smiles per gallon ratio goes through the roof when overtaking stronger cars with ease in that little thing :D

Probably standard pistons. The supercharger runs relatively low boost so if the engine is good then it should be fine.
to answer all questions. including the car. around 5000 to do the supercharger. no you do not need to uprate pistons, the stocks will take 170hp before bang bang. supercharger kit from tte is £2299. car is around 1300 quid
Casper bro..yaris got 1.8cc? i think 1.5 only. but i search at google and find 1.8cc for yaris..its true? at my country some workshop suggest to change new piston if i want to used supercharger at my vios
^^ the 1998 to 2004 yaris tsport came in 1.5 only. the 2004 to 2012 yaris Sport model came with 1.8. now there is no yaris sport

Stock is @105bhp and it's a lot of fun as it is. Mine's 13 years old, totally stock, and still loves being pushed 3200 rpm+ all the way to the red. That's probably the VVTi. Not that quick off the line but fantastic for back road fun and plenty of guts for getting past Sunday drivers. It's exactly what a small hatch should be. Handy that it does 40mpg all day long, too, no matter how enthusiastic you are with the throttle.
We only have 50kw (68ps) ...

The standard Yaris Tsport is pretty nippy being so light and having about 105hp. But the Turbo or supercharged versions are like pocket rockets!

Hi mate, I've got one and can't recommend it enough. Cool in its own way, whether you modify it or not. The 1.3 is surprisingly fast, and does just over 50mpg. Comfy too. Brilliant little thing.

the stock engine is a piece of shit all it does with a supercharger is make noises its only SOHC VTEC and 1.5L
unless your talking about the newer and much heavier honda fits

PekkaBoys with a supercharger it’s pretty impressive. 150 supercharged 1.5L is impressive. But u wanna knows what’s 1NZ actual potential, with a small turbocharger makes from 300-500 hp. This little fucker is a beast.

Hi hello, what has your engine been modified to 150 hp?
This was my first proper car way back in 2004, at the time they were as about as quick as a saxo vtr but obviously looked better etc, that tte sc kit was out back then! They can only handle around 7 psi stock block. I still think they are a good looking little car now.

I would have never thought that yaris's were so fun, I wrecked my s60 and got a 07 yaris quick for work. Made me realize how fun they actually are to drive.

I daily drive one of these, albeit bone stock. The fuel economy is ridiculous, slow car fast is waaaaay too much fun on bendy roads in the PNW. This looks like WAY too much fun. The sound is insane, perfect little go kart

I have a bog standard 1.3L Auto had it for 10 yrs,best car and reliable car i've ever owned with no issues what so ever.Thought of getting one of these sport 5 yrs ago....gutted now.They're so easy to work on,fix and maintaining them are pretty cheap.Mine is quick but it's an auto lol Just use it for short trips.

If it was the yaris t-sport it will have come with 110bhp standard. I had one they are nippy little cars always wanted a supercharger for it. Looks a blast!
