Very nice, really enjoyed...and let it be said that the little slip was obvious from you EXPRESSION... I know the feeling. Good job and thanks...BTW the other versions of seen on Y.T. are absolutely.......eeeeccchhh
Hey Patrick - I recently came into sheet music for Sandy's New Chanter and I'm just curious about a small distinction between what I hear you playing and what I see on the page. Specifically, all the places with two sixteenth-note Bs with the low-G tap. They're written completely round on my sheet music but you play them cut-dot - is that a deliberate stylistic choice or just how you learned it or something else?
Good question. Right now it's a stylistic choice because I've never seen authoritative sheet music or heard the composer play it (though I think he's a drummer so...?). On mine it's written round as well.
I'm not sure what "tabs" are but the sheet music can be found here: www.patrickmclaurin.com/tunedatabase/find.php?phptitle=chasing+shadows&titlemac=Yes&phpcomposer=&compmac=Yes&phpbookno=&phppageno=&phptunetype=&phptimesig=&phpnumparts=&orderbythis=book&Submit=Submit&fuzzy=Yes
Sandy is my all time favourite. You nail it ❤️

Patrick McLaurin it is a guitar thing, tabs are like sheet music but there are different numbers on different Frets on it instead of notes.
