Kelly: "Ok, so I wanna play test some potential new material." Monty and Joe: preceeding to magic their way around avoiding nearly everything. "Sorry what?" I love this channel.
I love the dark silliness Kelly brings to the table as a DM, and Eisenhorn is fantastic. Joe and Mitch also really brought it for this game (and extra props to Mitch, being a new player and a great sport about all of it) - just really excellent all the way around
It was so nice to see both kelly as a dm and monty as a player. Also, kelly could do something that monty can't, and that I would really like to see: he could use Sebastian as a quest giver for a low level party, quest about something that he hasn't time for. By the way, you are all amazing, keep up the great work!
Both are great entertaining fair dms with a bit of different styles and Monty is a great player as well. You guys are great. Other notable Dnd groups dont rotate DMs each campaign, it might set you apart
These two sessions were so much fun to watch! I would love to see more DMing from Kelly, and it's nice to see Monty let loose some spells as a player for a change
what a fun adventure!!! the minions were perfect! Flex, Skip, and Isaac were powerful mechanically, matched only by their portrayals in the game --- thank you for sharing !!
Enjoyed every aspect of this, especially this group! Excited for Jill to return and would love to see more of this same group including Kelly as DM and Monty playing. Keep doing what you do 👍👍
Lisa HAS to be a direct reference to the character by the same name in the Resident Evil remake. The noises, the multiple faces, it all just reminded me so much of that section of the game. Great creepy yet lighthearted mix!
Great to see Kelly DM and Monty as a player, so much skills on display. Joel and Mitch so much fun to watch. Keep it up guys. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
I just want to see an episode where Skip Featherwheat and Jerry Rigz work together. That’s on my bucket list now so I can’t die until you guys make that happen
That would be good. Veo would be one of my favorite characters to play as. But I personally like Rigz a lot better than Wilhelm. But maybe that’s just me
I have looked forward to Kelly as a DM for a long time. Glad I ran across this! You guys need to make an untold tales Playlist! Also, it's hilarious to watch Monty play as a player character. He's such a natural DM, he becomes an assistant DM answering the rest of the party's questions.
That time you thought a halfling was Mickey Mouse. Also a total Palpatine vibe when he said "I will show you what Delerium can do!" and unleashed the purple lightning.
Kelly's dm went great! Very atmospheric and creepy mobs. Love the setting. Could've been more challenging, but getting to see so much due to steamrolling was cool. I'm curious how they were able to powder the delirium without blowing up, and what that means for the larger setting? Overall, super fun episodes! Mitch and Joe are awesome guests!
I loved this untold tale! The Pale Man and his estate was also SUPER interesting. I like how Kelly portrayed them as mostly harmless (??) just a community living their best life. I'm super interested to see how they affect Drakkenheim as a whole too. I'm unbelievably stoked for the book!!!! SPOILER; RIP Big Tuna. He just wanted to skip rocks. T_T Kelly's humor with him was also AMAZING. 'Oh the lake is talking to me again...' 'That was the best one yet!' XD It's just such good humor and 'visual' humor.
I just finished watching this and I must say "Excellent job by everyone involved!" Kelly, your style of DMing seems to be a lot closer to mine. I've never been happy with the way I DM so thank you to allow me to see just how enjoyable it is for the players.
These untold tales have been great! Need more Monty playing; few players get more enjoyment than the DM who gets to see things from the other side of the screen.
That ability to send telepathic messages back and forth alone is worth taking that rogue subclass. They showed how powerfull that is for scouting ahead, but it would also be great for having the rogue go invisible and the others are hidden for an ambush and the rogue is then giving them the cue for when and where to strike.
Watching Monty giggle at the super powerful and clever use of their spells and abilities was just great. The look on his face when the gang does the same to him is normally worry and disappointment at them destroying his prep in a single roll, but his excitement was just beautiful.
I'm wondering what would have happened if the actually got to have a conversation with the Pale Man. Kelly should DM more often. It's a nice change and it's amusing to Monty as a player. Monster of the Week would be great.
4:30 "its never a good sign" ...i disagree with Kelly! if you fight naked having an eye at the bum so you can't be sneak attacked !! i say it"s op ! xD
Really enjoyed Kelly's DMing style! That fine line between comedic and creepy was beautiful, all those NPCs were wonderful. Would love to see Kelly DMing again! :) Also, I'd like to reiterate: Monty as a player is DANGEROUS! :D
Wanted to add: Really appreciated the take on the pale man. He seems to genuinely try to help people and the people he managed to help somewhat do seem content. There are some pretty sinister things - what with controlling the evolution of people deemed unsavable - but it's not entirely clear if that is purely a ruthless utilitarian approach in devense of the community they built or if more sinister stuff is going on. It's much more conflict of interest instead of good vs. bad and was a very interesting take. Also, am I right to think Monty played Isaac as ruthlessly as he did because he wanted to show that the Amethist Academy can be pretty sinister themselves? Because his arguments never were along the lines of "he is exploiting people" and more along the lines of "this doesn't conform to Academy regulations". And the fact that parts of the Academy are willing to kill rogue arcanists (mostly to preserve their local monopoly it seems to me) is pretty sinister.
Great play test everyone. This had Amazing flavor and exceptional NPC’s Kelly! I do agree that the difficult could be kicked up a bit (balancing encounters is hard) Glad we got to join you for the test run. Can’t wait for the Kickstarter to start!
Another amazing campaign that I loved to play along with... Kelly did such a great job, I actually forgot he couldn't hear me when he introduced Lisa. 1:13:11 Kelly: Again, this creature with the two heads resembles a human... You surmise that this is Lisa. Me: No! I surmise that these are Li and Za! The pale man stitched Lianna together with her best friend, the gnome Zarah to "honor their dying wish never to be appart"... Monty: Ew Me: Dude has got to die...
I love the content you guys make. Hope you guys grow even more as I feel like this channel deserves it. Me and my friends look forward to the next episodes you make, keep it up please! 😁
Man it's very rare that youtube videos make me laugh this fucking hard. This is a great band of characters and Kelly is a fantastic DM. He makes his characters seem so authentic and unique and the I had to wheeze because of Flex' aggressive, sporadic behavior and Eisenhorn's rational charm as they talk with stink eye
Loved this, good stuff. I'm awaiting some more Monster of the week! Looking forward to it! On another note how practical would it be to do a "double DM" session? I'd love to see Joe rollplay a band of halfling hillbillies or a group of partially mutated circus performers. Joe's characters are always so much fun to experience. I think it would be fun to watch a bunch of NPCs under his control causing mischief.
I have bought the drakkenheim source pdf. Will run it in November December 2022 ... ish at the dungeons and dragons club I attend. Hope we have as much fun as you guys do , when I run it
Kelly it was great to see your dm style. I loved how you rolled with your players (i sympathize with your villain being bypassed. i sent my players the monologue they cleverly skipped because i was so pleased with it). my games are getting higher level and you're a good model to follow. And Monty playing is so cool! Love to see it!
I'm going to miss Skip Featherwheat. The players may have run rings around Kelly's monsters, but the adventure seemed menacing enough, due to the mystery and atmosphere. This was a really fun Chapter; and I love Kelly's pathetic creatures. I'd love to see some more DMing for Kelly and his amazing performing eyebrows.
The culmination of this was a display of how to think out of the box, the box might be as mad as a box of frogs but you thought outside it! 😍 Stay safe and see you all soon. 👌
Nobody : Still literally no one: Actually everyone : We are tired of this studied meme where ppl go "No one: , Everyone : , Literally Someone: " . It was kinda cool 5 years ago . but it over now.
Loved it want to see more Kelly. And want to see what Kind of plan wrecker Monty is. ((though made me think of a topic they should do - the top 7 things DMs and Player bosh in D&D ))
Spoilers What a great episode! A bit shaky here and there but otherwise a perfect heist! For the book, warp lighting is a thing in Warhammer fantasy so maybe warp bolt or blast, just to be safe legally speaking, GW likes to throw cease and desists around as often as they can
Poor Stinkeye. He was so friendly and totally compliant but you guys went complete murder hobo on him and his friends. You probably could've gone through the whole campaign peacefully 🤣🤣🤣 This whole episode is an example as to why we don't allow the main DM to play as a character 😂
so is it just me or is the Pale Man and the Little Critters that he created out of people to serve him a shout out to The Tall Man from Phantasm and the little monster things that The Tall Man created. I was really expecting some type of balls to show up except maybe instead of metal with blades they would have been made up of Flesh, with pieces of delirium embedded in them and with multiple tentacles with eyes and mouths, stingers, and claws on them...
Brilliant game, Mitch was a hoot, Monty was brilliant, Joe was hillarious, and Kelly was an awesome DM. Brilliant job guys!
Couldn't say it any better. This was so good! I love Kelly DM'ing.
Kelly: "Ok, so I wanna play test some potential new material."
Monty and Joe: preceeding to magic their way around avoiding nearly everything. "Sorry what?"
I love this channel.

I'd love to see Kelly DMing more, it's a welcome change
It also provides a bit of a pressure release valve for Monty, as long as he knows far enough in advance that he won't be able to prep for a session.
Kelly’s atmosphere and NPC building is soooooo good. He rides that silly/creepy line very well.
Both are great entertaining fair dms with a bit of different styles and Monty is a great player as well. You guys are great. Other notable Dnd groups dont rotate DMs each campaign, it might set you apart
I’ve been excited for this one! I really hope Big Tuna doesn’t die, he just wants to skip rocks and be happy
Well at least he died quickly
Welp, sorry, lol.
RIP Big Tuna. I hope you can skip rocks in the big lake in the sky.
Drinking game, every time Kelly looks downcast after Monty steamrolls an encounter.
Bonus round, every time Mitch says amazing.
Or taking bets for how long it will take for someone to say “Octarine.”
Monty gets just as disappointed when he's on the other end, he has just been through it enough times now to suppress his immediate reaction somewhat.
This entire untold tales was "Let's ruin Kelly's plans and what he prepared" hahaha
Isn't that always the PCs plans? Ruin everything the DM has prepared and do something unpredictable?
Their visiting players really could take a tip from them, and watch DD's videos about playing.
Application of the "DM preparation" video
“So we’re going to beat up a scientist and steal his homework,” Pt.2
I love how Monty is just slightly nodding his approval to Kelly's dm-ing decisions to ask for rolls and whatnot.
These two sessions were so much fun to watch! I would love to see more DMing from Kelly, and it's nice to see Monty let loose some spells as a player for a change

What a wacky, rollicking adventure! Yes, Kelly, we want to see you DM again. Great job!
Lisa HAS to be a direct reference to the character by the same name in the Resident Evil remake. The noises, the multiple faces, it all just reminded me so much of that section of the game.
Great creepy yet lighthearted mix!
Literally no one makes me laugh harder! Skip's voice + his quips made giggle at the most random times! I love all your content
Why does Kelly make almost every. Single. Character. sound so god damn huggable.
Great to see Kelly DM and Monty as a player, so much skills on display. Joel and Mitch so much fun to watch. Keep it up guys. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
This was amazing! You did a fantastic job as DM Kelly. I would love to see you as DM more! Keep it up dudes
Joe is the best player character creator ever. But Kelly still has the top place in my book with Jerry Rigz. Love your work guys! Keep it up!!!
I just want to see an episode where Skip Featherwheat and Jerry Rigz work together. That’s on my bucket list now so I can’t die until you guys make that happen
Or how about a round with Veo, Skip, and Wilhelm?
That would be good. Veo would be one of my favorite characters to play as. But I personally like Rigz a lot better than Wilhelm. But maybe that’s just me
@@pw3829 Riggs is great, Wilhelm is cool, but I’m a Sebastian Crow man myself.

The Silence of the Weasels
That time you thought a halfling was Mickey Mouse. Also a total Palpatine vibe when he said "I will show you what Delerium can do!" and unleashed the purple lightning.
Ah hah! Welcome to skip feathermouse’s playhouse!
I can’t tell if Skip’s voice is more Mickey Mouse or Missy from Big Mouth.
Love this story. Had me spell bound for ages. Great GM ing
..Great role-playing by all ! Thank you all for all ! Made me laugh out loud many times.
Guilty pleasure: I love watching you guys break Monty.
Also, I'm so running my next campaign when your book comes out! I love this setting
Great ep guys genuinely laughed my ass off all ep
The next tavern in the next tale needs to be called The Screaming Weasel.
Hahhahaha that poor weasel
.. its life was so short lol
Kelly's dm went great! Very atmospheric and creepy mobs. Love the setting. Could've been more challenging, but getting to see so much due to steamrolling was cool.

Monty's as a player with utility and battlefield control spells is absolutely terrifying
"I have decided that you do not get to play the game."
Monty as a player is what DMs have nightmares about.
@@bsweitzer3 yea but it's more than just a normal nightmare. At the same time there is something hauntingly beautiful about it....

As weird as it sounds I love seeing Dungeondraft maps....makes me feel that much more cool when i pull out the maps I've made on there. :)
Love watching you guys!!! I liked seeing Kelly DMing and Monty playing!! Mitch and Joe had me laughing. Great job by everyone!!!
I had never previously been aware that there was a 'Barbarian' sub class option for Fighter :)
Excellent Untold Tale guys, thank you !
It's not what you do but how you do it.
Ooh watch out DM playing. Well handled Kelly 👍 when a DM plays they don't think quite like us players 😂
I thoroughly enjoy Mitch's unbridled enthusiasm.
I liked the whole session, especially how the tunnels encounter was handled, using environment to make it harder for the players :> Good stuff!
Really enjoyed Kelly's DMing style! That fine line between comedic and creepy was beautiful, all those NPCs were wonderful. Would love to see Kelly DMing again! :)

It was so funny that Flex kept having everything splash Skip
Great job All! Super fun adventure and hi jinks!
1:09:06 Awww he was collecting rocks! Leave him alone, Flex. Poor Stink-Eye. He even tried to give you instructions.

untold tales going great!!! you guys should do one of the ratling trio right after they go through the gate in the season 1 finale.
This set was awesome. I love the enthusiasm!!

Name the spell Warp lightning to pay tribute to the Skaven from warhammer Delirium is pretty much Warp stone and this is awesome.
Flex at the begining

Yes! I am so excited! Finally caught up all the way from season 1! Might just have to drop in on Tuesday...

Awesome 2 episodes guys! The RP was on point.
Flex's attack burst that killed The Hungry (including his critical hit), should have been at disadvantage because he was Restrained

I had a thought of this idea of Isaac's Telekinetic - shove is the monster rewinding back in time or going forward in time.
D_Dudes, I'm super excited about the kickstarter. Are there any updates on how the book's coming?
Excellent. Thank you.

Who paid more attention to Mitchs cat, than Flex?
Im glad someone else saw that
Cool, had to miss the 2nd half of the livestream, can't wait to see what happened
Anyone gonna mention the fact that Joe sounds like Morty making Isaac Rick. Lolol
Yep. Kelly doing the Monty bits is still very confusing :p
Easy Pickings. I hear you Joe
2:07:21 I guess that, while waiting for the main campaign to resume, Bruce went to visit another dimension.
I finally got to roleplay the character I created over a year ago, who's name was inspired by the Dungeon Dudes --- Montlaughk Crow!
As much as I love Kelly as a GM. I think my favourite part is Monty as a player.
Wait, Skip is upside down his right, would be left. The DM failed to notice that.
Kelly knocked it out of the park as DM.
In my head I'm imagining a Tonberry from Final Fantasy X.
so is it just me or is the Pale Man and the Little Critters that he created out of people to serve him a shout out to The Tall Man from Phantasm and the little monster things that The Tall Man created.
I was really expecting some type of balls to show up except maybe instead of metal with blades they would have been made up of Flesh, with pieces of delirium embedded in them and with multiple tentacles with eyes and mouths, stingers, and claws on them...
It’s good to change up now and then.
Enjoyed Kelly as DM/GM
First the Merchant, now a Lisa Trevor reference!?
Great job Kelly
We need more skip featherwheat.
Skip Featherwheat looks like Duncan Trussell's younger Amish cousin.
I'm sure Beakaxe the Axe Beak is fine & that the weasel was scared & they all meet up for zany adventures...
One challenge I have is determining level. With banishment this feels like a higher level campaign?
Great job being a dm Kelly. Hope you dm more often!!!
