Ive struggled with depression my whole life, even when i was really little, i never felt loved my whole life but once i met a girl, she was perfect, everything id ever wanted in a woman down to the name. I confessed to her, she agreed to date me, a week in and she told me she was starting to love me, we would spend every day together, when she got home from school she would message me as soon as she did, and we would talk till she had to go to bed. I would wake up every morning earlier than i needed to be just so i could tell her goodmorning before she went to school cause she said she liked that, and i normally slept in till noon before i met her. I was always worried she didnt love me and she would always calm me down and assure me she did and promised to always be with me. For my birthday she spent the entire day with me with no naps in between and gave me the best gifts ive ever had, two drawings of us(shes a drawer). It was the only six months of my life where i was actually happy, and she was the only person i ever felt loved by, even now. But she left me one night and i cried and cried every few minutes for two weeks straight and i almost never cry. Two months later she comes back with her new girlfriend and tells me she hates me and that im a terrible person, and when i told her i wanted to kill myself she said she didnt care. That will be 2 years ago next april. Ive been hospitalized twice, have a couple failed suicide attempts, i picked up cutting, even tried burning a few times, and every day it gets worse and worse, im going to finally do it soon, hopefully before my birthday which is the 16th. This song is so good but it's really hitting me in my heart because my husband of almost 6 years (together for 10), we separated almost two months ago and I moved my son and I to another state for protection reasons. But it felt like a part of me died. But was also dying a little if we stayed together. I'm conflicted because I feel free and chained up because it's hard being a single mom. Especially since I haven't been single since I was a teenager and he was my first true love.
