Christmas At Blenheim Palace Vlog 2023 | Light Trail & Story Of Sleeping Beauty

- CHRISTMAS AT BLENHEIM PALACE 2023! Join me and my mother, Debbie, as we make our way round this very elegant and beautiful palace during their Christmas event!
We love festive season and we couldn't miss out on the opportunity to experience a light trail at the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill! We had an overall amazing time at Blenheim Palace. The atmosphere here really gets you in the festive spirit! Even just strolling around the grounds without paying the extra for the Story of Sleeping Beauty Experience, or the light trail, is enough to really get you in the festive mood.
There's plenty to do at Blenheim Palace and it will keep you occupied for hours. As soon as you enter you'll find a selection of food and drink options, a shop, plus 4 fairground rides which you can make use of. Proceeding further into the grounds, you'll be greeted by the main entrance to the palace, which has been decorated for Christmas, including projections across the palace. In the main area, you'll also find a very interesting Christmas market full of many different types of stalls. Entry into Blenheim Palace is free, as the Christmas market is free for you to enter, but the cost comes when you're looking at doing the Story of Sleeping Beauty or the light trail.
We enjoyed what little time we spent within the palace during the Story of Sleeping Beauty, which is a walkthrough attraction. It was extremely elegant, pretty and well put together, overall I'd say it was enjoyable to see how well the theming was, however I don't think it was worth the money that was charged. I think it was overpriced as although it was very well put together and elegant, we completed it very quickly and could be done in 5/10 minutes if you're going at a modest pace. Going as a family with children would certainly stretch out this experience, as there is a lot of detail to see and some fun activities for everyone of all ages. Within the experience, you'll also find a live actor playing the role of Princess Aurora after only recently waking up after 100 years, which is very good for keeping the experience immersive.
The light trail left us in awe.. Absolutely stunning with the trail taking us over 1hr 30mins to complete, and it was so worth the long walk! They integrated everything into the light trail, the lights, projections, fire, a water show and much more! Easily a 5 star experience for us and we can't wait to see the trail again next Christmas!
I like that no matter how many years in a row you go the trail, you will always have a different experience, as they change the trail every single year, which is great!
Mixing the Christmas market, story of Sleeping Beauty and the light trail made for a very interesting, lengthy and spectacular night overall.

Hi, loved this video. In the Christmas market, could you buy hot food to eat there? Also did you have access to the Blenhiem giftshop?
Thank you! Yes there was hot food options available throughout the Christmas market, as well as cold food options too like olives and cheeses I believe. We also did have access to the gift shop which is available to browse until closing😊
