Fabulous. You probably did the gardens just at the right time of the day because at twilight you can see them lit up and still make out the plants and the longer distance views then going into the complete dark and get a completely different experience! The last two/ three years the tv has shown Chatsworth, Harewood and a couple of other grand estates/castles at Christmas, I hope they do it again this year.
We actually saw the programme during one of the lockdowns and that was what gave me the idea to visit. The only disappointment was I missed seeing the fountain because it was switched off by the time we got to the gardens. I can’t wait to go back and visit the house 😍 A good excuse to go back!
@@menopausalmotorhomer oh yes the fountain and the waterfall are definitely worth another visit. I went to Chatsworth in 1986 or 1987 when my then husband worked for Barbados’, the Princess of Wales was the patron and we went to a Garden Party there, I got within 5 feet of Diana and she was more beautiful in real life than on the tv or in photos. I didn’t get into the house but we did see some of the gardens including the fountain and the waterfall.
Firstly, your channel name is perfection! It made me laugh. Now, the video - what a cute market. Shame about the weather....we've had so much rain up here in Scotland we started building an ark! I've always wanted to visit Chatsworth and it looks like Christmas would. be a great time. The food and drinks looked amazing. The gardens are gorgeous. All the lights...we love light trails. The projections on the house just top it off. Beautiful!
My daughter actually came up with the channel name so I can only take credit for the mood swings, hot flushes, weight gain and outbursts of rage 🙈 We hadn’t been to chatsworth before but it was fantastic and definitely one for the list to revisit. It’s not a cheap day out but the atmosphere was fantastic ❤️ Thank you for watching!
Laughing at all the mud reminds me on whitby. Glad john came to hold the brolly lol. I bet that hot sauce was nice. Wow what an epic light showed. Thanks for taking us to chatsworth ❤
I keep telling him I’m good company but when I watch this back I realise I need to be a little less sarcastic with him 🙈 Gutted though because I had to share my churros and chocolate sauce 🤣 The light show was even better in real life. I’m still cleaning the mud…again 🙈
Omg i went to chatsworth last week but didn’t see the advent calendar lights 😢 i was there until 17:30 pm we saw everything but not the projections… and we walked all the garden
Oh no 😢 They were on a loop when we went and the crowds were obvious so maybe they started later on the day you went? How disappointing though as it’s not a cheap day out!
@@menopausalmotorhomer it was so disappointing really! We went Tuesday 7th and waited until the night, all garden lights were on but not the advent calendar, we supposed there was no an advent calendar being almost 18 pm. then we waited 2 hours outside because the bus to Chesterfield, and it didn’t come haha im glad to see the advent calendar on your video 🥰
Some may argue but apparently our food is pretty good too although being a Yorkshire girl I’d be recommending a pudding! You can’t beat fish and chips in Whitby too - it’s like the French equivalent to moules et frites ❤️ If you ever come over to the UK though, head to Scotland too - it’s beautiful on the West Coast 👍

Hi Both. It’s absolutely brilliant and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It really put us both in a good mood despite the dark nights drawing in 👍

Same for us today. So disappointed 😢
@@annakuzmins9885 😩😩😩maybe they don’t have projections every day… or they project minutes before they close, sad.
To be honest, the UK was never on my bucket list purely because as an Aussie the culture is very close. You’ve changed my mind 👍
Culture, maybe.. History? Nahh Come on over.
