  • Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown - to all intents and purposes, this should have been a match made in heaven. Both young, attractive, successful recording artists, seemingly with the world at their feet... how and why did it all go wrong?
This ‘perfect’ love story went sour and the world was aghast. Petty jealousies, long-held resentments, the mismatch between fantasy and reality, all played their part. It is clear that Whitney’s desire for the security of marriage and the need to be loved eventually obscured everything else. She gave up so much for Brown, including her extraordinary talent and in many respects, Bobby Brown's life reads like a classic cautionary tale about the perils of fame and fortune. For Bobby, career envy reared its ugly head and played out in totally unacceptable behaviors. For Whitney, substance abuse to deal with the pressure she was under as a wife, mother and singing star, lead to the unthinkable.

I remember l was riding with my mom in a Ford pickup truck when l heard on the radio that Whitney Houston had married Bobby Brown. I remember shaking my head from side to side feeling utterly complete sadness and disbelief.l said to my mom this is not a good match.Hewas too young and he had a bad boy image.Sure enough the marriage didn't last.l wanted to see her with a more stable man like Kevin Costner who adored her.If there's was one good thing from this marriage it was Bobby Christina.Rest in power Whitney and Bobby Christina.❤

I think if you want to be a millionaire s agent you're going to give them the three chance drug dance and I mean a drug test because that is where it takes a turn.if they want the recognition then they will have to stay on the right path to fame.everyones best interest!!!!

unfortunately that’s the case with a lot of celebrities they just want to do the jobs they dream of doing they don’t want the fame then on the other hand you have people like bobby who just want people to adore him rather they may or not have any fame at all it’s quite awful

Yes & No, she had her demons way before Bobby. However, as her husband he was supposed to protect her and he didn’t.

I guess you were there, or better yet the fly on the wall!! All you know is what the bias media has to say about them. Sure Bobby was no Angel, but he wasn't the Michael Myers in it All either. There was multiple more people that were negative influences in the picture.

whitney’s voice is unmatched !! she knew what she knew from Church! as a fellow singer i know for a fact her soul and voice lived and breathed Gospel and God! she never sang any of her songs the same way! everytime it was always a lil different. she’s the only artist EVER IN THE WORLD to be able to do many renditions of music and make music her own! she had 4 octave range which is rare! she belted out her notes (which effected her voice long term) she felt that she had to give every song her all. she’s not the only artist who’s voice changes after decades. but even after 3 decades she remains the most awarded artist with awards and 200 Million+ Records sold across the world !! She paved the way for every Female Black Entertainer after her! she was even the first black woman on a magazine ! she’s really a trailblazer ! I will never forget when i heard she died and bawled my eyes out for a week! watching the funeral felt unreal ! Forever Nip, Forever Missed😩❤️

No one has ever done The Star Spangled Banner better than her before or after her !! even made #1 on the charts! she sang that anthem the exact way it was supposed to be sung! using her head voice, body and diaphragm ❤❤❤

A few years ago I was in love with a black guy. I was sending out Christmas cards and I put my name before his when I signed them and he had a meltdown and told me never to do that again. Needless to say we didn’t last very long. Idk black men seem to need a different respect. I understand but I can’t do that. But I get Whitney’s love for him

So you’re gonna generalize all Black men based off your own individual personal experience? I bet you’re a white woman.

that was him, not the same for all, of course mutual respect is a must . Tbh it doesn't matter which way round cards are signed . He must have been very fragile mentally
