When Jacob brought up Augie Doggie and Doggy Daddy I was 100% sure it was some obscure Drawfee reference I just didn't get, so imagine my surprise when Google informed me it was an actual Hanna Barbara cartoon that I somehow managed to never hear of in my nearly 30 years of life.
It's funny, because that's exactly where my mind went, too. I was like, an obscure Drawfee reference I don't know??? And then I Googled it and, lo and behold, it's a real show made by real people that I've somehow never heard of.
Anyway, funny how two random people can go through the exact same thought process~
i thought it was a bit, like a cartoon they make up in an upcoming episode. after looking them up, i have seen these characters before, but have never heard their names.

And this might just be my own perception but even scooby doo way back when was shockingly forgettable, I've watched a lot (not exactly a ton but a reasonable amount of it) and I've only committed to memory the things that have been brought up in recent years, like with drawfees video on scooby doo villains. The only Scooby Doo things I distinctly remember watching was written and released way past this _prime_ period around the 50s or 60s, namely the japanese animated movies from the 90s, and the live-action movie of the 2000s.
They did have some excellent sound effects though.

Probably the funniest stream Drawfee I've watched. I'm glad I saw the title as a challenge, rather than a recommendation.
25:30 Kureno is the rooster in fruits basket. He's not the doctor (that's Hatori the dragon). The rooster is barely seen in the story until waay later volumes. The story is so delightful ❤ it starts out as a lighthearted comedy slice of life but it quickly gets deep and kinda dark. It'll drag you through all the emotions of laughter and tears for sure.
It's a excellent "starter" manga for people that have never read a manga. And Julia is right that it's mostly just a character driven plot but the motivation is to break the curse. It's a really pretty complex, emotional storyline that deals a lot with trauma and abuse 😅
The manga is best but the new reboot anime is very very good and follows the manga well. As for art style the author has talked a lot about how she actually didn't like the art either. She was having lots of health issues and hand pain (I believe?) at the time of creating it and never liked the artstyle all that much. I personally find it cute and easy, again just kinda a great starter manga for an average Joe.

The brush switching problem makes me think of a challenge like "Drawing but the brush switches every minutes" maybe like a speed draw capped at like 5 minutes or something and you switch every one minute or something. Might be interesting!

One of my mother’s cousin’s daughters got married on a gorgeous little bay inlet in a very tony DC suburb, and they served crawbs. I was 13 (it was 1983) and that was the best wedding ever. I was however not into eating crawb, so I sat there in my awesome 40’s-style turquoise dress and large plastic rainbow hearts bracelet and ate whatever else there was, and just listened to what felt like hours and hours of loud snaps and cracks as everyone else rapturously ate their big water bugs. Second thing: there is a TH-cam video currently with a thumbnail that says, “How do murder hornets work? Do you just send them a list?” which feels relevant to the Jollibee mob.
